Tonight, ABC has the fifth season finale of The Mole.

On cable tonight, Discovery Channel has a Tornado Rampage special followed by a Dangerous Season speical, HBO has a We Are Together: The Children of Agape Choir special, and MTV the TV movie premiere of The American Mall.

Prime Picks

The Big Bang Theory (CBS): Repeat. Leonard and Sheldon hear Penny singing and then try to avoid having to hear her sing again, in “The Loobenfeld Decay.”
How I Met Your Mother (CBS): Repeat. Ted starts acting like Barney and Marshall has to snap him out of it, in “No Tomorrow” from this past season.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (FOX): Repeat. Sarah, John and Cameron try to infiltrate a resistance safe house, in “Gnothi Seauton.” This is episode two and episodes play tomorrow and Wednesday, as well as, the following Sunday thru Wednesday and then the next Sunday.

CSI: Miami (CBS): Repeat. The team investigates a murder at a wedding, in “You May Now Kill the Bride” from this past season.

Solid Selections

Prison Break (FOX): Repeat. There is a coup at the prison and it puts Michael’s plan on hold, in “Dirt Nap” from this past season.

Samantha Who? (ABC): Repeats. First up is the “Pilot” episode followed by “The Wedding” episode. If you missed this the first time around, you should give it a shot. Christina Applegate is really good as the amnesiac Samantha.

Summer Olympics (NBC): Day 4. Gymnastics, swimming, beach volleyball, and diving play during the over four hours of coverage tonight.

Cable Choices

Good Eats (Food Network): New. Alton talks about proper freezer storage. Plays again later.
How’d That Get on My Plate? (Food Network): New. Sunny follows cocoa from a farm in Hawaii to it being used in some of your favorite treats. Plays again later.

The Closer (TNT): New. Lt. Provenza goes undercover to catch a woman trying to solicit a hit, but ends up losing the evidence. Last week’s episode, “Live Wire,” replays right before. Saving Grace (TNT): New. Grace’s Porsche gets the door knocked off by a drunk driver and thousands of dollars in cash that was hidden by a previous owner goes flying. Among the owners questioned is legendary Oklahoma and Dallas Cowboys football coach Barry Switzer. Plays again later.   • Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations (Travel Channel): New. Anthony explores “Tokyo.” Plays again later.
  • Army Wives (Lifetime): Repeat. Last night’s episode, “Duplicity,” replays. Plays again Saturday late night and Sunday right before the next new episode.
  • Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives (Food Network): New. Guy visits places that serve ice cream, gelato, etc. A repeat episode follows. Both episode play again later.
  • Gossip Girl (The CW): Repeat. Georgina tells Serena that she is going to tell everyone about her secret and Blair and Jenny are playing rumor chicken, in “All About My Brother.”
  • The Middleman (ABC Family): New. A middleman from that has been cryogenically preserved since 1969 is brought back to help with his old nemesis. Plays again later. Holy Austin Powers rip-off, Batman.
  • The New Adventures of Old Christine (CBS): Repeat. Things don’t go well for Christine after she promises Mr. Harris that she will attend an event with him, in “Traffic” from this past season.
  • One Tree Hill (The CW): Repeat. Lucas checks out Dan’s story about his heart ailment and Mouth gets a shot at sports anchor, in “Crying Won’t Help You Now” from this past season.
  • Two and a Half Men (CBS): Repeat. Charlie and Jake go on a double date, in “Winky-Dink Time” from this past season.
  • Unwrapped (Food Network): New. Marc Summers shows you some of your favorite frozen treats. A repeat episode follows. Both episode play again later.
  • Weeds (Showtime): New. Esteban and Nancy go on a date that turns violent. Andy and Doug actually get their first client across the border. Silas starts dealing out of the back of Lisa’s store. That was last weeks episode descriptions, but it is a new episode. Plays again later.

  • ESPN has preseason Monday Night Football with the Cincinnati Bengals at the Green Bay Packers.
  • ESPN has Little League Baseball action followed by Monday Night Baseball with the Philadelphia Phillies at the Los Angeles Dodgers.
