Grey’s Anatomy (ABC): Season Premiere. Lots of trauma patients end up at the hospital during a freak ice storm in Seattle. Meredith and Derek are figuring out that getting that happy ending takes work. Cristina shows a liking to a new military doctor at the hospital. Runs two hours.

Solid Selections

My Name Is Earl (NBC): Season Premiere. Early remembers once denying a young Make a Wish kid his wish. He finds that he is still alive and he wants to make a movie for Earl to make it up to him. Seth Green guest stars as the Make a Wish kid. Ethan Suplee’s Randy gets a couple a great scenes in this one, very funny.
My Name Is Earl (NBC): New. Earl and Randy find out that they weren’t the reason the neighbor moved away and the real reason turns out to be quite unsettling. I liked this one a little more than the first one, as I always seem to like the episodes with Earl and Randy’s parents. Look for an interview with Jason Lee and creator Greg Garcia later today.

The Office (NBC): Season Premiere. A corporate weight loss program is making the office residents obsess over their weight. Michael tries being friends with Holly. Jim is missing Pam while she is away at school. Runs one-hour. Look for an interview with Paul Lieberstein and Amy Ryan later today.

Woo! Yay for The new season of The Office tonight! I’m really bummed that it conflicts with Grey’s Anatomy. :( Oh well, The Office will probably end up winning. I’ve really been looking forward to season 5!

I’m also really looking forward to the commercials. No, seriously! Remember that Tide talking stain commercial that first aired during the Super Bowl? So funny. Well, I work at Tide and we had a contest earlier in the year to see who could best spoof the ad. We had some great entries! The finalists can be seen here: http://www.tidetogo.com/ads and the WINNER can be seen during the season premiere of The Office TONIGHT. Should be great!

Thanks for letting me comment on your blog! If you have any questions, feel free to email me! I’d love to hear from you!

Thanks!
