Get Privileged Episodes via Amazon Video On DemandTonight, ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC have the second Presidential Debate news special.

Over on cable, BBC America has the second season finale of Gavin & Stacy, Bravo has the series premiere of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Golf Channel has the season premiere of Big Break X, Discovery Channel has the fifth season premiere of Dirty Jobs, and MTV has the season finale of Making the Band.

Presidential Debate (ABC, CBS, FOX & NBC): News Special. Tom Brokaw moderates this debate between Republican candidate John McCain and Democratic candidate Barack Obama. Runs 90 minutes and starts at 9:00 p.m. Eastern.

Solid Selections

NCIS (CBS): New. A young female Naval officer has been murdered and a well thought of Senator asks Gibbs to solve the case.

Privileged (The CW): New. Megan has to cancel her plans with Jacob to chaperone the girls’ pool party. Rose thinks Megan should invite her sister to the party. Charlie lets slip to Marco that he is in love with Megan. This is the best new show that not nearly enough people are watching.

Cable Choices

Lincoln Heights (ABC Family): New. It’s “The Day Before Tomorrow.” Plays again later.

Greek (ABC Family): New. Casey brings Max to the ZBZ formal and the sisters test him. Ashleigh decides she is going to find Rusty a date. Plays again late night tomorrow.

The Shield (FX): New. Vic puts a plan in motion to end the gang threat. A sleepwalking murder is investigated. Runs 67 minutes. Plays again later.

Other Options

  • 90210 (The CW): New. Annie and Ethan get put together for a class project and get to see each other in a new light. Tracy has hired a PI to find the son she gave up for adoption and she lets Harry know what she has done.
  • Big Break X (Golf Channel): Season Premiere. The teams meet and are tested. This time it is both men and women in the competition.
  • The Cleaner (A&E): New. William brings Swenton home to detox him. Akani and Darnell infiltrate a sorority house to investigate a drug dealer. Plays twice and again later twice.
  • Food Detectives (Food Network): New. More food myths debunked. Plays again later.
  • House (FOX): Repeat. The “Ugly” episode from last season replays, where a documentary film crew is following the team around as they diagnose a patient. This is a really great episode.

Sports Notes

  • ESPN2 has college football action with Troy at Florida Atlantic.

Late Night

  • Mad Men (AMC): Repeat. This past Sunday’s episode, “The Inheritance,” replays.
  • Raising the Bar (TNT): Repeat. Last night’s episode, “Hang Time,” replays.
  • Sons of Anarchy (FX): Repeat. Last Wednesday’s episode, “Giving Back,” replays.

TV Marathons

Bravo has nine episodes of The Real Housewives of New York.
Discovery Channel has seven episodes of Dirty Jobs tonight.
Oxygen has 10 episodes of Roseanne.
Sci Fi has 18 episodes of Tales From the Darkside.
TNT has five episodes of Law & Order tonight.
