Listen to episode four, “Don’t Spoil Me!,” of the TV times Three podcast, where we talked about spoilers and why we don’t like them. What do you think about TV show spoilers?

Prime Pick

House (FOX): New. House’s father has died and everyone thinks he should go to the funeral, which he reluctantly does. Meanwhile, the team tries to figure out what is wrong with a woman that was recently in China searching for her birth mother.

Fringe (FOX): New. The team is lead to a man that can control electricity while investigating a case that involves some super-charged accidents and homing pigeons.

Eli Stone (FOX): Season Premiere. It’s six months since Eli got the aneurysm removed from his brain and he has been vision free. Jordan gets trapped after a crane smashes into a building and Nate has a vision of where she can be found. Will be interested to see how this does upon its return. Hopefully, better than other ABC shows back for a second season.

Solid Selections

NCIS (CBS): New. The team heads to the town Gibbs grew up in when evidence in a case leads them there and more about his past comes to light.

The Mentalist (CBS): New. The body of a high school girl washes up on the beach and Jane puts a plan in motion to get the surfers to tell them what happened.

Without a Trace (CBS): New. A white-collar criminal is on his way to testify in another case when he goes missing. The team investigates.

Cable Choices

Lincoln Heights (ABC Family): New. Tay gets shot. Charles is dealing with a problem on his own, but may be over his head. Plays again later.

Greek (ABC Family): New. Sorority election is almost here and the mud is a flying between Frannie and Casey. Calvin has to deal with the consequences of his recent actions. Plays again late night tomorrow.

The Shield (FX): New. Vic uses a prostitute from his past to help bring down a drug dealer. Danny does whatever it takes to protect her kid. Runs 67 minutes. Plays again later.

Other Options

  • Big Break X (Golf Channel): New. Contestants have to rely on their teammates to win the challenge. Plays again later.
  • The Cleaner (A&E): Season Finale. William and the rest of the team attempt a risky tact to try and save a family where the couple is addicted to alcohol. Plays twice and again later twice.
  • Dirty Jobs (Discovery Channel): New. Mike sees how dirty making potato chips can be. Plays again later.
  • Privileged (The CW): Repeat. The “Pilot” episode replays. If you haven’t watched this show yet, here’s your chance to see how it began. It really is good. One of the best shows that not enough people are watching.

Sports Notes

  • TBS has Game 4 of the MLB ALCS with Tampa Bay up 2-1 in the series over Boston.
  • Versus has NHL hockey action.

Late Night

  • Mad Men (AMC): Repeat. This past Sunday’s episode, “The Jet Set,” replays.
