Over on cable, Bravo has the 15th season premiere of Inside the Actors Studio and the series premiere of First Class All the Way, E! has the sixth season premiere of Dr. 90210, and TNT has the first season finale of Raising the Bar.

Saturday Night Live Presidential Bash 2008 (NBC): New Special. Watch sketches, both recent past and from long ago, involving political figures. Runs two hour. The political stuff has pretty much been the only funny stuff this season, so this new compilation episode should be good.

Cable Choices

Good Eats (Food Network): New. Alton uses the soybean in some dishes. Plays again later.
How’d That Get on My Plate? (Food Network): Repeat. See how “Eggs” are used in are favorite foods. Plays again later.

Raising the Bar (TNT): Repeat. Last week’s episode, “Roman Holiday,” replays. The previous eight episodes replay leading up to this one and the season finale follows.

Raising the Bar (TNT): Season Finale. ??. Plays again later. The previous nine episodes of the season replay leading up to this episode.

  • Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives (Food Network): New. Guy heads out to some places the serve “Traditional Dishes.” A repeat episode follows. Both play again later.
  • Gossip Girl (The CW): New. Jenny gets talked into a guerilla fashion show. Serena finds that Aaron is keeping something from her.
  • One Tree Hill (The CW): New. Nathan has to deal with a rival from his past. Lucas is heading into uncharted waters with his novel.
  • Samantha Who? (ABC): New. Sam starts up a Real Estate company with her mom and goes a little too far to make the sale. James Tupper (Men in Trees) guest stars.
  • Two and a Half Men (CBS): New. Judith kicks Herb out. Runs 31 minutes.
  • Unwrapped (Food Network): New. Marc Summers takes a look at “Oodles of Noodles.” A repeat episode follows. Both play again later.

  • ESPN has Monday Night Football action with the Pittsburgh Steelers at the Washington Redskins.
