Grey’s Anatomy (ABC): New. One of Meredith’s oldest friends becomes an intern at Seattle Grace. Lexie is taking the lead in helping her fellow interns with some unorthodox surgical training. Runs 61 minutes. Mary McDonnell (Battlestar Galactica) begins an arc on the show tonight and Kevin McKidd has been made a regular cast member.

Life on Mars (ABC): New. A guy that wants doctors at a county hospital to reverse a surgery on his brother is holding everyone there hostage and Sam must figure out a way to diffuse the situation. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 59 minutes.

My Name Is Earl (NBC): New. Earl harkens back to his first anniversary with Joy. Runs 30 minutes.

The Office (NBC): New. Michael gets sent to Canada on business and he takes Andy and Oscar with him. Jim can’t wait until Pam is back from art school. Runs 31 minutes.
30 Rock (NBC): New. Jennifer Aniston (Friends) guest stars as a friend of Liz and Jenna and ends up falling for Jack. Runs 29 minutes.

Eleventh Hour (CBS): New. A frozen body of a woman is found on the beach and Jacob is called in to investigate. It turns out that it is quite hot out, but she doesn’t seem to be thawing. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 59 minutes.
