King of the Hill (FOX): New. Peggy is trying to make money in the stock market to get a new flat screen TV.

Desperate Housewives (ABC): New. Susan is preparing for her daughter’s arrival and introducing her new boyfriend. Gaby learns something about Mrs. Hilderbrand’s past. There is a reporter snooping around trying to show that Bree isn’t so perfect. Oh, and there is a fire. Runs 61 minutes.

Brothers & Sisters (ABC): New. Kevin ends up taking his mother’s dream property out from under her and Justin tries to play matchmaker for his uncle.

Solid Selections

The Amazing Race (CBS): New. It’s a game of chicken, but not in the way you may be thinking.

Cold Case (CBS): New. The squad reopens the case of a young Russian opera singer that defected to the US and was found dead in 1989.

The Unit (CBS): New. The conclusion to the two-part episode that began last week, where you find out if the team saves Betsy Blane and Mack decides the fate of Col. Ryan. This is another very good episode.

Cable Choices

Brotherhood (Showtime): New. Tommy has to deal with some political fallout from a fire. Colin is having trouble with work because he is thinking about Michael’s girlfriend.

Dexter (Showtime): New. Dexter tries to tell Miguel about his “code.” Debra may be getting close to finding the skinner. Plays again later.

Entourage (HBO): New. Vince is getting conflicting advice from the director and things are about to get out of hand, so Dana and Ari step in before they do. Runs 30 minutes.

Other Options

  • Californication (Showtime): New. Charlie sends Marcy to her mother’s house and Hank is trying to find out the truth about Ashby. Karen puts a stop to Ashby and Mia. Plays twice. If you like this show, you will like this episode.
  • Chef Jeff Project (Food Network): Season Finale. The crew prepares to go solo with one last cooking assignment. Plays again later.
  • Iron Chef America (Food Network): New. In this 90-minute episode Iron Chefs Flay and Symon take on Iron Chefs Morimoto and Cora in a Thanksgiving battle. Plays again later.
