Over on cable, Discovery Channel has a When Nature Strikes special.

In The Office news, NBC announced that a one-hour episode of the show will follow the Super Bowl this February.

Planning to be on TV Talk with Shaun OMac later today. The show starts at 3:00 p.m. PT and I, along with Amrie from Seat42f, among other places, will be on at 3:20 p.m. PT, so why not drop on in and listen live. Also, you can call in or join the chat room.

Later today I will be interviewing actress Gina Bellman (BBC’s Coupling) and executive producer Dean Devlin of TNT’s new show Leverage, which premieres Sunday night and then takes its regular timeslot on Tuesday night. Sloan does a cutting edge procedure, which impresses Lexie. Callie doesn’t know what to make of Sadie and so far, neither do we. Runs 61 minutes.

Eleventh Hour (CBS): New. College students in Oklahoma are dying of the bends and Hood is dispatched to investigate why this is happening. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 59 minutes.

Smallville (The CW): Repeat. “Plastique” from earlier this season replays, where a bus explodes outside the Daily Planet.

The Office (NBC): New. Oscar notices that the branch is running a cash surplus and tells Michael that if they don’t spend it, they won’t have it in next year’s budget. Angela and Andy head to Schrute Farms to make wedding arrangements with Dwight. Runs 31 minutes.
30 Rock (NBC): New. Liz goes to her high school reunion after a little convincing from Jack. Don Geiss comes out of his coma and leaves Jack shocked at his announcement of who will head up the company. Runs 30 minutes.

ER (NBC): New. Neela is testifying in court. Alex and Sarah are in an accident. Morris and Banfield are attending a ER conference and get snowed in. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 59 minutes.

Good Eats (Food Network): Repeat. Alton believes there should be “A Pie in Every Pocket.”. Plays again later.
Food Detectives (Food Network): Repeat. “Hangover Cures” are tested. Plays again later.

Iron Chef America (Food Network): Repeat. The episode from Sunday replays, where Iron Chef Cat Cora takes on Iron Chef Michael Symon in a holiday themed battle. Plays again later.

Ace of Cakes (Food Network): Repeats. First up is “Skaters and Speedsters,” where they make a skateboard cake, and then it’s time to “Get Cake,” where they make a cake for the premiere of Get Smart. Both play again later.
