Over on cable, BBC America has the series premiere of Mistresses, HBO has the seventh season premiere of Real Time With Bill Maher, and USA has the seventh season finale of Monk and the third season finale of Psych.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (FOX): New. The Connors are checking out the town near the exploded factory and Weaver has sent someone to go after a possible survivor. Runs 61 minutes.

Friday Night Lights (NBC): New. J.D. McCoy has to deal with hazing. Matt and Julie are getting a little closer. A woman is looking for Cash and the child support he owes her.

Numb3rs (CBS): Repeat. In “The Decoy Effect” from earlier this season, the team is investigating a rise ATM kidnappings. Charlie is trying to get his security clearance back.

Solid Selections

Everybody Hates Chris (The CW): Repeat. In “Everybody Hates James,” Rochelle thinks Julius is having an affair. Runs 30 minutes.

Dollhouse (CBS): New. Echo is hired out as the female counterpart of an outdoorsman. Agent Ballard may have found a clue to Echo’s identity. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 59 minutes.

20/20 (ABC): Repeat. ABC investigates and reports.

Cable Choices

Unwrapped (Food Network): Repeats. Marc takes a look at your favorite chips and then those tasty cookies. Both play again later.

Monk (USA): Season Finale. The parking garage where Monk’s wife was killed is set to be demolished and he tries to stop it from happening, but ends up investigating the disappearance of a city official. Plays again later.

Battlestar Galactica (Sci Fi): New. Ellen has a decision to make, which could affect the humans and the Cylons forever. Plays again later.

Other Option

  • Psych (USA): Season Finale. A famous serial killer seems to have returned having eluded capture years earlier and seems to have their sights set on Shawn. Plays again later. The previous six episodes replay this morning.

Sports Notes

  • ESPN has an NBA doubleheader with the Dallas Mavericks at the Houston Rockets followed by the New Orleans Hornets at the Los Angeles Lakers.
  • ESPN2 has Friday Night Fights with a middleweight bout scheduled for 10 rounds.
  • Golf Channel has second round action from the Northern Trust Open.

Late Night

  • Nip/Tuck (FX): Repeat. This past Tuesday’s episode, “Budi Sabri,” replays.

TV Marathons

A&E has 15 hours of CSI: Miami episodes.
MTV has 14 episodes of Randy Jackson Presents: America’s Best Dance Crew.
MTV2 has 12 episodes of Viva La Bam.
Sci Fi has eight episodes of Jeremiah early.
USA has six episodes of Psych early from this winter part of the season.

Only 3 episodes of Kyle XY left after tonight. I still can’t believe that a show this good was cancelled. Seems like the good shows get the axe and are replaced by more teen drama shows. Something is seriously wrong with that.
