Prime Picks

Chuck (NBC): New. Chuck may have located the creator of the Intersect. A store war breaks out between the Burbank Buy More and Beverly Hills Buy More.

24 (FOX): New. The president’s daughter is becoming more involved. The administration gets some devastating news. Jack tries to stop the import of weapons at the port with the help of Tony.

Castle (ABC): New. Beckett and Castle are investigating the death of a teen boy and uncover a story of betrayal and obsession. Starts two minutes after the hour and runs 58 minutes.

Solid Selections

How I Met Your Mother (CBS): New. A client has declined to build using Ted’s design and Barney and Marshall try to keep the bad news from him. Runs 30 minutes. A replay of one of the funniest episodes of the series, “The Bracket,” follows tonight’s new episode, which plays a half hour earlier than normal.

Heroes (NBC): New. Noah gets Danko to release Tracy in hopes of following her to Rebel. Ando and Hiro try to keep a new hero safe. Angela goes to an old friend for help.

Medium (NBC): New. The ghost of Agent Cooper visits Allison once again and it makes her suspicious.

Cable Choices

The Secret Life of the American Teenager (ABC Family): Season Finale. Amy gives birth during which Ben and Ricky sort things out about their future roles in the baby’s life. Plays again later twice. The previous two episode replay leading up to tonight’s finale.

Roommates (ABC Family): Series Premiere. The story of a group of post college friends trying to figure out what to do with their lives starts out with a guy wanting to move into the apartment because his old high school crush lives there. Runs 30 minutes. Plays again late night tomorrow. I’ve seen about half the episode and it looks like it could be fun. It has a sort of Friends vibe. The show that follows it tonight, Sophie, is one of the worst shows I’ve seen in a long time. It is the story of a woman that has the worst day of her life and not one thing about it was funny.

Saving Grace (TNT): New. Grace and Ham are back together as partners and they are investigating the death of a woman found in a swimming pool. Clay throws a party at Grace’s without permission. Plays again later.

Other Options

  • Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives (Food Network): New. Guy checks out places that are “Family Favorites.” A repeat episode follows. Both play again later.
  • CSI: Miami (CBS): New. The Russian mob is targeting members of Horatio’s team.
  • Gossip Girl (The CW): New. Blair decides to explore her darker nature. Lily and Rufus decide to make lists of past lovers in an attempt to be completely honest with each other. This is better than last week’s episode and has quite the interesting ending.
  • One Tree Hill (The CW): New. Haley and Peyton are trying to help Mia with her new single. Brooke has to help Sam after she gets arrested for shoplifting. Jamie finally learns the truth about his grandpa Dan.
  • Rules of Engagement (CBS): New. Brian Dennehy guest-stars as Jeff’s father, who is quite the chauvinist and ends up having to stay longer when he gets injured. Starts a minute after the half hour and runs 29 minutes.
  • Will Work for Food (Food Network): New. Adam tries his hand creating a dress out of chocolate and then a cheese carver. Plays again later.
