Prime Picks
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (FOX): New. Ellison has some secrets uncovered and meets Sarah again. John is trying to save another target of Skynet. Runs 61 minutes.
Friday Night Lights (NBC): New. The McCoys and Taylors are less than friendly after recent events. Buddy is trying to reconnect with Lyla. Tyra is trying to start things up again with Landry. NBC recently announced that the show would run another two 13-episode seasons. It will play on DirectTV in the Fall and then on NBC in the Winter, just like this season. So glad to see that happen, wish NBC could cook up something similar for Chuck and Life and guarantee they would be around for a few more seasons.
Numb3rs (CBS): Repeat. In “Blowback” from earlier this season, the team is on the case after two police officers and many others are gunned down at a coffee shop.
Solid Selections
Everybody Hates Chris (The CW): New. Chris is refusing to do any chores. Runs 30 minutes.
Flashpoint (CBS): New. Two boys try robbing a store, but things don’t go well with their escape and they end up taking hostages. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 59 minutes.
20/20 (ABC): New. ABC investigates and reports.
Cable Choices
Unwrapped (Food Network): Repeats. See how some of your “Deli” favorites come to be and then it’s stuff made with “Chicken.” Both episodes play again later.
Mistresses (BBC America): Season Premiere. Season two picks up 12 months after the events of season one. Jessica is getting married. Katie finds that her new boss is actually one of her old boyfriends.
Head Case (Starz): New. It’s Dr. Goode’s wedding day. Tate Donovan (Damages) needs some dating advice.
Party Down (Starz): New. The gang is catering a singles event for seniors hosted. This is another good episode, although I liked last week’s episode the best of the three so far.
Other Options
- Dollhouse (FOX): New. It’s “The Awakening,” where Echo and others wakeup with much of their original personalities and then try and plan an escape. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 59 minutes.
- My Boys (TBS): Repeat. This past Tuesday’s third season premiere episode, “Welcome Back, Kalla Fotter,” replays. Loved the mustache growing contest.
