Over on cable, Animal Planet has the first season finale of Stranger Among Bears and History has the first season finale of Battles BC.

In late night, Comedy Central has a Paul Rodriguez & Friends: Comedy Rehab special.

On Episode 26, ” It’s Not You, It’s the Show. Or, Is it?” of the TV times Three podcast, Amrie and I were joined by Myles McNutt from Cultural Learnings to talk about shows in decline. Or, is it us that has changed and not the show? Shows mentioned include Grey’s Anatomy, Heroes, and The Office. Then we talked about the previous week in primetime TV.

Dollhouse (FOX): New. Ballard finds the person who designed the Dollhouse, played by guest star Alan Tudyk (Firefly). Starts a minute after the hour and runs 59 minutes.

20/20 (ABC): New. ABC investigates and reports.

Unwrapped (Food Network): Repeats. It’s breakfast, breakfast and more breakfast in these two episodes. Both episodes play again later.

Mistresses (BBC America): New. Trudi tries to use work to forget about Richard. Jessica begins to rethink her open marriage. Plays again later.

Head Case (Starz): New. Dr. Goode is dealing with self doubt, but the magic “blendie” business is rolling.
Party Down (Starz): New. Casey makes friends with a sports star at a corporate treat the gang is catering.

Really enjoying the podcast. The topic is something I have wondered about and 50/50 think it’s me versus the show. Cause Heros is not good now.

Patty, Thanks! Really does depend on the show and yes, Heroes is one that it is definitely the show and not us.
