1 Marla Fusilier May 14, 2009 at 8:05 am

I would love to be one of the winners of the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation – The Complete First Season on Blu-ray Sets. I have watched every episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and it is one of my favorite tv shows. I am 44 years old and a full time student working towards my bachelor degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Forensic Science and Death Investigations. Even though I know that this is a “tv” show, it really inspires me to be the best that I can be as a student and in my future career as an investigator. I believe my most memorable moments on CSI was the lost of Gary Dourdan “Warrick Brown” and William Peterson “Doctor Gilbert “Gil” Grissom”. Although I really like actor Laurence Fishburne, in my opinion there will never be anyone who can take the place of Grissom, except William Peterson returning of course. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to take part in this giveaway.

Omg I have 3 favorite memories from CSI. It starts with the pilot episode Omg when Holly (Chandra West) gets killed it just started this series off right for me I knew it was gonna turn into one of my favorite shows. Truly amazing pilot. I think I even cried. My second memory at which I definitely cried was the finale from Season 5 (Grave Danger) when the team had to find Nick (George Eads) that whole episode just i was so sad. It was so good and so scary at the same time that I just came apart. Till this day like I can’t really watch that finale because i get like that all the time. I think I’ve watched it maybe one or 2 times again since it’s aired. And my final memory is the finale from season 8 and the premiere of season 9. The way the whole team came together for Warrick. It just showed me how much I have come to care about every single character on this show. Like I love it I just love it. I don’t know how else to explain it.

3 Chuck R May 14, 2009 at 2:14 pm

I really dug the Miniature Killer episodes. I think the show’s lost something now Grissom’s gone. Warrick’s death was also very touching.

4 Mary May 14, 2009 at 5:50 pm

I agree that the show will suffer without Grissom. I too enjoyed the miniature killer episodes, especially since I make mininatures myself. The first seasons were some of the best.

5 Bobbie May 14, 2009 at 6:58 pm

Gil leaving the show has to be the hardest show I have ever watched. I am in paramedic school, so I miss episodes regularly now, and will have to wait for the entire series to come out on DVD to fill in the missing pieces. Losing Warrick, replacing Gil, the show has been through so many changes, but still manages to keep my attention (and is one of the few shows that can). When Kathryn found out about her dad, when Nick was buried alive, there are so many great episodes. I remain a devoted William Petersen fan, and will look forward to seeing him in some other venue. I would love to have the first season on DVD…as well as ALL the others.

6 Richard May 16, 2009 at 11:40 pm

I have to say one of the most memorable episodes was Gil Leaving, altho Nick being buried alive, still my favorite episode…

7 Heidi Willis May 17, 2009 at 7:24 am

The reveal of Sara and Grissom.

8 Mary Wiley May 17, 2009 at 7:28 am

I think that when Warrick dying was one of the best episodes there was. I am not that happy with the way the season has been going since Gill left. I think it has more to do with the writers than bringing in Ray.
I do think next season will be better and even if it’s not I will still watch the show because I love all the CSI’s but this one is still my favorite!

9 Marilyn Wons May 17, 2009 at 2:45 pm

I would like to investigate the first season of CSI because I missed the first season!

10 MRS.MOMMYY May 17, 2009 at 2:52 pm

like the minature killer series- that was very interesting to watch..the buried alive was great too

11 Linda May 17, 2009 at 3:40 pm

Great series

12 Jenny May 17, 2009 at 4:17 pm

It broke my heart when Grissom left, however, they did do a fantastic job with a replacement. I think as Ray’s character develops, it will continue to be a good show.

13 tim love May 17, 2009 at 4:20 pm

i missed part of season one and would like to see what i missed !

14 Melissa Resnick May 17, 2009 at 4:37 pm

16 Beatlechic May 17, 2009 at 4:46 pm

Great show

33 PATRIC KRUEGER May 18, 2009 at 3:41 am

My dad loves this show and I would like to get it for him. Now, if only I could convince him to buy a home theater system with speakers and a Blu-Ray. Well, his b-day is coming up so you never know what he might get. He also like the old Miami Vice show. This is really nice of you to give this away. ty.

paddy

34 Meredith Rogen May 18, 2009 at 4:29 am

I love the episode where Taylor Swift died.

35 Kacy May 18, 2009 at 5:11 am

36 Tracey Byram May 18, 2009 at 5:28 am

I love all the CSI shows. They have great storylines, great characters and keep you guessing until the very end.

37 Jill May 18, 2009 at 5:53 am

I missed alot of the first couple of seasons, I would love to win this.

38 Denyse May 18, 2009 at 7:16 am

I’d love this for my sister. She LOVES CSI- I always watch the true crime on A&E and she always watches this:)

39 Luigi May 18, 2009 at 7:25 am

I don’t really think I have one specific CSI moment.
I have fond memories of watching the show with my family and just looking forward to watching it every week. I felt like it brought the family together and it was something we all liked. I would like to go back and watch the episodes and remember all the fun we had watching it.

40 Kimberly Brown May 18, 2009 at 9:41 am

This is one of the very best shows out there.

41 Angela J May 18, 2009 at 10:20 am

No favorite, I just like to watch these shows after they come out on DVD, no commercials, etc.

42 brandlyn G May 18, 2009 at 11:04 am

I have been a fan of this show since season 1. The Miniature killer episdoes were my favorite!

when gil started going out with one of his crew.

46 Jeffrey Beckett May 18, 2009 at 3:45 pm

I’d like to see this because my wife likes the show and I am indifferent – hopefully if I see them from the beginning I will appreciate it more.

47 Linda Z May 18, 2009 at 4:01 pm

I really need this to catch up

48 Nick Somoski May 18, 2009 at 4:30 pm

My best memory of CSI was actually watching it in its first season, on Friday nights. I remember thinking how different of a show this was, and how much I loved Fridays because of it. But, seems like every drama on CBS is just a copycat of this show. I’d love to win this set, though!

49 Amanda Galloway May 18, 2009 at 4:37 pm

I would love to win this since I missed a lot of the first season. I didn’t realize how much I was missing. Now, I don’t miss an episode. I think one of my favorite episodes was Warrick’s funeral. Although I hated him leaving the show, I loved how they all came together to remember him. It seemed so real, and it was a great way to say goodbye to his character.

50 Alison May 18, 2009 at 4:48 pm

Can you believe that I’ve never seen any episodes?
So, I need to be educated!

51 MIKE May 18, 2009 at 5:46 pm

Oh, I remember the episode with the air hammer and one of the techs got a nail in the eye. OUCH!!!!

the early years are the best.

52 margaret h May 18, 2009 at 5:52 pm

I can watch it again and again and again. Without commercials.

53 Jacob LaFountaine May 18, 2009 at 6:25 pm

I remember some bloody crime scene in a kitchen

54 Randy Bailey May 18, 2009 at 6:48 pm

This would B A awesome win

55 Catherine May 18, 2009 at 6:56 pm

I like all the episodes with Grisson and NOT featuring Sara (ick)

56 Dane Thompson May 18, 2009 at 9:50 pm

i really liked the episode where the guy couldn’t remember committing the murder and therefore they had virtually nothing to go off of. ALSO i would like to go through and start catching up on this amazing series.

57 Kaycee May 19, 2009 at 4:11 am

My favorite moment was when Grissom was crossing the street, and a car approaching him honked, and he finished crossing the street without pausing to let the car pass. He realized, in the final seconds of that episode, that he needed to step down, due to his disability. I think if people would pay closer attention to details like that in real life when such things happen to OTHERS, we would all feel greater empathy to our fellow man.

58 JIMMY RUGLAND May 19, 2009 at 4:30 am

I like Rex. He’s very sexy. Is that a bad thing to say??

59 Brian May 19, 2009 at 4:43 am

I have never seen any CSI as I live in the mountains an am unable to get TV reception.Always wanted to see the show someday! But you should give it to Alison as she’s never seen it either and I have my music anyways!

60 david basile May 19, 2009 at 5:56 am

just watching the characters develop made it happen

61 amber May 19, 2009 at 6:39 am

The first season was awesome! I’d love t re-watch it, especially on crystal clear blu ray!!

62 Kelly May 19, 2009 at 6:44 am

it will be a crime if I lose!

63 David Reimers May 19, 2009 at 7:04 am

My favorite episode was the one when Nick wound up being buried and the entire team was determined to find him while at the same time being forced to watch him on a live video feed.

I would like to get the first season of CSI for my mother in Texas who doesn’t get out much so now she could start watching this series and have a “movie night with my dad since they are so used to watching separate tv’s yet they both love crime drama television.

CSI is the greatest of them all.

64 David Purcell May 19, 2009 at 8:04 am

my favorite memory is also my saddest as it was when warrick was killed. It made both my wife and I cry to see die

65 Linda Barbour May 19, 2009 at 11:04 am

CSI is one of my favorite shows, even though I really miss Gil, I still continue to watch. I would love to win this prize!!!

66 Wayne Fontenot May 19, 2009 at 12:46 pm

I would like to have CSI: Crime Scene Investigation on Blu-ray,The First
Season, because I NEVER was able to view CSI: Crime Scene Investigation during the first season. Only after the first season did I hear about it, but from what I have seen so far it SPECTACULAR!!!

67 Leslie Penland May 19, 2009 at 12:58 pm

I missed about half of the shows would love to see them all!!!

68 kim May 19, 2009 at 1:00 pm

The first season it what mad the characters the show is never dull always something new and different happens in every episode.

69 Gary Osborn May 19, 2009 at 2:12 pm

I love all seasons of CSI – still watch the re-runs. Love NCIS also!!

70 Phi Lenh May 19, 2009 at 3:10 pm

My wife is a CSI fiend ! ! I’d love to be able to win it for her.
She loves the series so much that it is on whenever she is home.
She grew attached to all the characters on the show and season one was what did it for her.
Though she watches the other two variations of the show as well (CSI: NY & CSI: Miami) she’d
always comment that the characters, storylines, and action is nothing compared to the original! !

71 Monique Rizzo May 19, 2009 at 3:13 pm

This would be an AWESOME win!! Thanks for the chance.

72 paul haddock May 19, 2009 at 4:15 pm

I started watching after the 1st season, Gary S is the best

73 kristen arvidson May 19, 2009 at 5:26 pm

I loved the episodes of the miniture killer, it was interesting to have episodes that were connected & involved the same suspect that was taunting Grissom & the CSI team

74 Rosey May 19, 2009 at 5:59 pm

I’d like to investigate the first season because my teenaged-son knows every episode by heart. He loves these shows.

we try to never miss it

78 Aaron Bretveld May 19, 2009 at 10:22 pm

I have been a fan of CSI: Las Vegas from the beginning. My favorite part of the show was the miniature killer since it was drawn out for a pretty long time and they had a lot of screen time investigating the murders. I really want to have this set because I have watched CSI so much, that I can’t even remember what episodes started out this great series.

79 danny May 20, 2009 at 7:11 am

I would love to catch up on the 1st season of csi. I just got a blu-ray player and need to start my collection!

80 Anna May 20, 2009 at 10:04 am

I don’t think I’ve seen any of the first season. Thanks for the giveaway!

81 Shania Duncan May 20, 2009 at 10:05 am

One of the best shows was when Nick was buried alive and they were trying to find him. It was sad that they could watch him and see him get eaten alive by ants, but could do nothing to help him.

82 Dave May 20, 2009 at 7:33 pm

My brother raves about what a great show this is, but I never have a chance to catch it. Now I can watch the whole season at once. Thank you for the chance to win.

83 Jim W. May 21, 2009 at 7:34 am

I’ve never actually seen CSI…I usually watch CSI: Miami. I do love that show and want to see this one…I just hate going into a show the 4th/5th season.

87 Daniel M May 23, 2009 at 11:00 am

i like how futurist the show is getting, but what’s funny is a lot of the stuff they show is only a fantasy currently (holograms?? don’t think so)

88 ky2here May 23, 2009 at 6:19 pm

Dating the corpse through maggots. Now that’s must see TV.

89 Christie May 24, 2009 at 6:42 am

92 Dani May 24, 2009 at 2:33 pm

I have not been a regular viewer of this series, but I actually was able to catch an episode last night and it was pretty good. Would love to know things behind the reulgar characters such as why it was such a big deal that Gary Sinise’s charcter bought a new shirt.

93 christopher h May 24, 2009 at 2:57 pm

i’d like to investigate the first season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation on Blu-ray because i’m one of the few people who havn’t seen this

94 Jeremy May 24, 2009 at 4:56 pm

My favorite was the pilot episode. I knew it was going to be a great series, and I was not disappointed.

95 Sebastian Niles May 24, 2009 at 7:03 pm

My favorite memory of CSI would have to be the episode where two boys stumble upon what they thought was an alien. The episode was great because they made you think that the victim as actually an alien and made me think about intelligent life outside the universe. I was dissapointed to find out that it was actually a coverup. It still was a great episode

96 Terry Vanderpool May 24, 2009 at 7:10 pm

CSI is one of my favorite shows and I did not see much of the first season thanks

97 Kevin Elliott May 24, 2009 at 7:27 pm

101 phillip stacy May 24, 2009 at 9:52 pm

I actually have the equipment to play this.

I would love the chance to win, thanks.

105 Mildred D May 25, 2009 at 6:41 am

106 Susan Ledet May 25, 2009 at 8:11 am

I love CSI and rarely miss a show. I domiss Gil and the show isn’t the same without him. They need to bring him back to keep the show going.

107 Rachel Robertson May 25, 2009 at 9:48 am

I love this show! I have so many memories which really stick out in my mind. I think my favorite episode is the one where Warrick dies. The acting of all the cast was some of the best I have ever seen. It had me crying and although it was so sad, it was such a great way to have a character leave the show. It made you feel as if you were saying goodbye to a friend and not a televison character.

108 Barbara Rawe May 25, 2009 at 10:48 am

When Warrick died I felt touched! I love this show and my family makes a weekly date around the TV to watch together! Opens up discussion and as a result we learn alot about each other! Great series! Thanks for the opportunity to win this!

109 Angela Palmer May 25, 2009 at 11:20 am

I actually never saw the first season! I love CSI but rarely watch “the most watched show on television” when it is advertised as such. I found CSI during the second season and have watched it almost religiously since. I really liked the miniature killer storyline.

110 Sonya Allstun May 25, 2009 at 12:02 pm

I have watched all of these shows and love this show but I was so disappointed when they took Grisson off the show but I am hoping they bring back him and Sara. I liked the one where Grissom starts to lose his hearing. This made you see there was more to him.

111 Tim May 25, 2009 at 12:15 pm

I just started really getting into the show so I would love to watch the DVD for spisodes I have never seen.

112 Kelly F May 25, 2009 at 1:10 pm

126 Kathleen S. May 25, 2009 at 11:33 pm

I am one of the three people in the country that hasn’t watched CSI, so this would be great so I could catch up on it from the beginning. Thanks!

127 Connie A Rowe May 26, 2009 at 5:07 am

I’ve been a CSI watcher since the beginning. Would love to add this to my collection.

128 gloria mckellar May 26, 2009 at 5:21 am

This would be a great gift! Thanks you!

129 Donna May 26, 2009 at 6:39 am

I loved the story line with the mini serial killer where the girl made mini replicas of all her murder scenes. I also hated watchin Gil leave the show. Great series. I love ALL the CSI shows.

130 Susan Smith May 26, 2009 at 8:29 am

My favorite moment on the show was Gil and Sara finally getting together.

131 Veronica Garrett May 26, 2009 at 9:11 am

I didn’t get to see the series. I have heard how great it was. I would love to see it on Blu-ray.

132 Karin May 26, 2009 at 9:14 am

I would like see the first season—- wasn’t into it in the beginning.

133 Johannah B May 26, 2009 at 9:46 am

Dare I admit this? I love crime investigations, and solving mysteries…. however I haven’t ever seen the show… I need this because I hear it’s great and haven’t ever been able to catch it on the TV.

134 Daniela May 26, 2009 at 9:49 am

OMG, the chance to win this is awesome and then on Blu-Ray? Double OMG! When Sara was trapped under the car, Nick buried alive and Grissom finding Sara in the Jungle. All heartstoppers.

135 steven May 26, 2009 at 11:22 am

my favorite part of csi was when grissom was up against the miniature serial killer and saving his co-worker (and secretly his girlfriend). I would really love seeing all the beginning episodes again.

136 Leigh Nichols May 26, 2009 at 11:30 am

I can’t remember the name of the episode, but it was the one where there was a chubby women’s convention in one of the Vegas hotels- and Grissom is such a gentleman ;)

137 katiea May 26, 2009 at 11:39 am

It would be great to be able to watch this without the snow that we get on channel 62 (local CBS affil). Until we went digital late last year, everything was always snowy! Thanks for the chance to reminisce in crystal clear clarity!

138 Dan May 26, 2009 at 1:15 pm

I’d like to investigate because I’ve never seen it

139 Ann May 26, 2009 at 1:34 pm

I want to check out the first season because my daughter is so obsessed with this show and I need to know what all the fuss is about. It had to have been a phenomenal first season to cause double spin-offs too.

140 Ed Nemmers May 26, 2009 at 1:57 pm

I have never seen a “CSI” show.

141 Regina May 26, 2009 at 2:08 pm

i have never seen this show but im very interested in watching it :)

143 Pamela S. May 26, 2009 at 2:31 pm

Not my favorite episode but unforgetable. It was called, “Getting Off”, a transvestite that turned out to be a clown.

144 Cassandra May 26, 2009 at 3:25 pm

I’d like the first season because I never saw the show from the beginning. I catch episodes here and there, but it would be great to finally get the foundation of the show. Thanks!

145 amy delong May 26, 2009 at 4:45 pm

150 Kimberly Murat May 26, 2009 at 8:04 pm

My favorite memory is a happy one. Remember Hodge’s Lucky day? I still laugh whenever I hear that song!

151 Helen May 26, 2009 at 8:31 pm

My favorite episode was the pilot because so much was said without it being forced. I was also surprised by the sudden death of Holly which cemented me liking the show.

152 Rachel Newman May 26, 2009 at 9:13 pm

Any of the eppies that focus on the minor, geeky, lab tech guys. :)

153 sarah woods May 26, 2009 at 9:19 pm

155 Jessica May 26, 2009 at 9:52 pm

I love this show, but it has been a long time since I have seen Season 1. I would love to relive it. I like so many episodes one of my faves is the Strip Strangler in Season 1.

156 Heather C May 26, 2009 at 10:27 pm

My favorite were the miniatures. Very cool props, huh?

157 Marcy Strahan May 26, 2009 at 10:32 pm

I love CSI & often watch it for hours(reruns) on A&E!

Would love to win the complete first season because the reruns are never in order & I feel like I missed bits & pieces.

158 Janet May 26, 2009 at 10:38 pm

we heart csi:) ty 4 the entry:)

159 Betty C May 26, 2009 at 11:03 pm

I didn’t start watching CSI until well after the first season had finished. I work evenings and I hadn’t heard a lot about the series. When I finally started watching I couldn’t wait for the reruns so I could catch up on the early episodes. When I visit my daughter we look forward to some of the weekend marathons and we will watch every episode and sometimes we have already seen them several times before.
The most memorable episode was the loss of Warrick and the subsequent aftermath. I really wish he could have stayed on the show because it just isn’t the same without him.
The loss of Grissom is also detrimental to the program but the episode itself was not as memorable.

160 Molly Capel May 26, 2009 at 11:17 pm

I loved the scenes with Grissom & Sarah together.

161 Susan D May 26, 2009 at 11:26 pm

The Quentin Tarantino-directed “Grave Danger” was a memorable two-part episode.

162 Donna K May 26, 2009 at 11:43 pm

I have never seen it, but I want to.

163 Mildred May 26, 2009 at 11:54 pm

I’ve never seen Season 1 of CSI, so owning the set in the Blu-ray format would be great. I agree about the episodes involving the search for the Miniature Killer being good ones.

164 Lily Kwan May 27, 2009 at 12:03 am

I would like to investigate the first season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation on Blu-ray because it sounds very interesting!
