Prime Picks

Million Dollar Password (CBS): New. Jaime Kennedy and Norm MacDonald are the celebrity guests.

Cold Case (CBS): Repeat. In “Shore Leave” from this past season, has the team investigating the death of a marine after he had gone AWOL.

The Unit (CBS): Repeat. In “The Conduit” from this past season, Bob poses as a scientist and gets taken hostage by a drug cartel.

Cable Choices

Food Network Challenge (Food Network): New. Watch 10 competitors compete in an “America’s Best Burger” challenge. Plays again later.

Law & Order: Criminal Intent (USA): New. Nichols and Wheeler are on the case when the partner of a con man shows up dead weeks after a suspected job. Play again later.

In Plain Sight (USA): New. One of Stan’s first witnesses is found dead and Stan becomes a suspect, so Mary and Marshall investigate the case to find out what really happened. Play again later.

Other Options

  • Breaking Bad (AMC): Season Finale. Skyler finally can’t take Walt being so secretive anymore. Jesse loses it. Donald’s grief turns into tragedy. Plays twice and again later.
  • Iron Chef America (Food Network): New. Chef Sam Mason comes into Kitchen Stadium to challenge Iron Chef Morimoto. Plays again later.
  • Maneater (Lifetime): Part Two. Sarah Chalke (Scrubs) stars in this two part, four-hour miniseries based on the Gigi Levangie Grazer bestseller. Chalke plays a shallow socialite that has dated just about everyone and has the Hollywood connections to prove it, but starts to see her window coming to a close, as she nears her 32nd birthday. So, she sets out to find her a nice rich man to marry in the next three months and sets her target on a new producer in town that seems to be the next big thing. Plays again later and again both parts play again tomorrow. I really like Chalke and co-stars Judy Greer (Miss Guided, Love Monkey) and Marla Sokoloff (The Practice), but not necessarily in these roles. Yet, this is definitely a cut above the average Lifetime movie.
