Over on cable, CMT has the fourth season finale of Nanny 911 and the first season finale of World’s Strictest Parents, GSN has The Game Show Awards special, Hallmark Channel has the TV movie premiere of Come Dance at My Wedding, and WE has the first season finale of I Want to Save Your Life.
During the day, USA is replaying the series premiere episode of Royal Pains three times.
Giveaways: Two Boston Legal – Season Five DVD sets and two Prison Break – Season Four – The Final Season DVD sets.
Note: As I mentioned the last couple days, it was time to change up Tonight on the Tube just a bit. So, cable and network programming has been combined in the Prime Picks and Solid Selections sections. Each of the section will continue to be made up of the best bet for each hour of primetime, but sense most of the good stuff is on cable during the summer, it just looks strange for those shows not to be part of the Prime Picks section.
Prime Picks
The New Adventures of Old Christine (CBS): Repeat. In “Checkmate” from
Worst Week (CBS): Series Finale. The last filmed episode of the series plays tonight. Was never a big fan, but anything new and scripted on a Saturday during the summer is better than the usual alternative.
Harper’s Island (CBS): New. The creepy little girl goes missing, as everyone in the wedding party is about to leave the island.
Pushing Daisies (ABC): New. While investigating a case, Emerson comes across the mother of his child. Randy Mann continues to pursue Olive. The series finale episode plays next week.
Solid Selections
Summer Snacks Unwrapped (Food Network): Repeat. Get a look at how some of your favorite summer treats are made. Episodes about “Summer Sweets” and “Ice Cream” replay following this one. All three episodes play again later.
Primeval (BBC America): New. The team tries to protect a 747 from being attacked by a Giganotosaurus. Plays again later.
Saturday Night Live (E!): Repeat. Will Ferrell hosted with musical guest Queens of the Stone Age. Plays again later.

- ABC has WNBA action followed by the Belmont Stakes horse race.
- CBS has golf coverage of the Memorial Tournament Round 3. You will also find coverage later on Golf Channel.
