Over on cable, Animal Planet has the Animal Planet Dog Championships, BBC America has he series finale of Primeval and the series premiere of Being Human, HGTV has the second season finale of Dear Genevieve, and Syfy has the TV movie premiere of Malibu Shark Attack.

Kings (NBC): Series Finale. Jack is preparing to take the thrown, but everyone is surprised to see that Silas isn’t dead. This is not a real season finale, it’s the first season finale, but since there won’t be a second, this is what you get. Such a good show that just was too hard to describe and get people to take a chance on watching.
The Bill Engvall Show (TBS): New. Bill wants to know what Susan says about him when talking with the girls. A repeat of “Pineblock Derby” follows. Both play again later.
Dirty Sexy Money (ABC): New. Nick, Brian and Karen are on a road trip and Simon is suspicious of Jeremy and tells Nola.
Solid Selections
Primeval (BBC America): Series Finale. I hear it ends with a cliffhanger, cause this was not intended to be the series finale, just a season finale. Plays again later.
Being Human (BBC America): Series Premiere. This is an interesting show about a vampire, a werewolf, and a ghost that try to live normal lives, but of course it doesn’t always work out well. Plays again later. They set up some interesting dynamics between the three main characters. I’ve seen about half the episode and it is pretty good. I am looking forward to seeing how this episode comes to a close.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (NBC): Repeat. In “Baggage” from this past season, the detectives end up investigating a serial killer.
Other Option
- Castle (ABC): Repeat. In “Always Buy Retail” from this past season, Beckett and Castle investigate after a ritualistic killing.

- FOX has MLB action with FOX Saturday Baseball.
