Prime Picks
So You Think You Can Dance (FOX): New Special. A countdown of “The Fifteen Best Performances Ever.” Runs 58 minutes.
Leverage (TNT): New. The team attempts to take down a corrupt diamond merchant. Plays again later. Check out these interviews with star Christian Kane and writer, executive producer and co-creator John Rogers from a recent visit to the set.
Dark Blue (TNT): New. A turf war is brewing between the Crips and a new gang, the Venice Kings. Dean goes under as a King. Plays again later.
Solid Selections
The New Adventures of Old Christine (CBS): Repeat. In “He Ain’t Heavy” from last season, Christine tries to help Matthew loses a few pounds, but she seems to be finding them.
CBS Fall Preview (CBS): New. Watch clips from new and returning shows coming this fall.
Glee (FOX): New. A teacher wants to revamp his high school’s glee club and lots of signing and dance ensues. Starts two minutes before the hour and runs 62 minutes. This is the extended directors cut of the, “Pilot,” episode, so basically there are a few more scenes that didn’t appear in the version that aired back in May. I didn’t quite fall madly in love with this show like many did, but I am looking forward to it’s premiere next week.
Dinner: Impossible (Food Network): New. Robert is cooking a meal to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Philadelphia Zoo. Plays again later.
Other Option
- Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns (TBS): New. Two new episode play, “Meet the Man and the Mouse” and “Meet the Real Dad.”
