On cable tonight, FOX Reality Channel has the third season premiere of The Academy, Hallmark Channel has the TV movie premiere of Always & Forever, ID has a Blackboards & Bullies: Are You Kids Safe? special, Showtime has a Bon Jovi: When We Were Beautiful special, and Syfy has the TV movie premiere of Ghost Town.

USA’s new series White Collar that premiered last night replays four times today. It’s worth checking out.

Prime Picks

Three Rivers (CBS): Repeat. If you missed last Sunday’s episode, “Good Intentions,” because of the Football overrun, then here’s is your chance to see it.

Robin Hood (BBC America): New. Prince John has blocked access to all the wells during heat wave and Robin must make a difficult decision while trying to help those affected. Plays again later. Last week’s episode replays right before.

Law & Order: Special Victims (NBC): Repeat. This past Wednesday’s episode, “Hardwired,” replays.

Solid Selections

Mercy (NBC): Repeat. The “Pulling the Goalie” episode from last week replays. NBC has picked this show up for the full season, which shows just how bad things have gotten for the network. I’m only really mentioning it here, so I could mention the pickup.

Extreme Sweets (Food Network): New. Adam Gertler travels the country in search for sweets of the extreme variety. Plays again later.

Ace of Cakes (Food Network): Repeats. Two episodes replay with Duff and the gang making lots of Halloween themed cakes. Both play again later.

• Trauma (NBC): Repeat. This past Monday’s episode, “Stuck,” replays.

• ABC has regional college football today and tonight has Saturday Night College Football.
• CBS has college football action with Tennessee at Alabama.
• ESPN has three college football games today with Florida at Mississippi State capping off the night.
• ESPN2 has two college football games with NASCAR racing in the middle.
• FOX has Game 6 coverage of the American League Championship Series.
• NBC has college football action with Boston College at Notre Dame.
