FlashForward (ABC): New. They start looking into the Blue Hand club and any connection to the event. Aaron gets a visit from an Army buddy of his daughter.

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC): New. The hospital is offered a donation by the parents of a patient of Arizona. Cristina is testing her boundaries. Runs 61 minutes.

The Mentalist (CBS): New. Jane gets arrested for spying and ends up helping the team solve a case from jail.

Solid Selections

The Vampire Diaries (The CW): New. Elena is trying to avoid Stefan. A really old friend of Stefan comes for a visit. Damon offers to help Sheriff Forbes.

Fringe (FOX): New. A connection to something from Broyles’ past is found while investigating what is causing people to turn into ash.

Private Practice (ABC): New. Violet is thinking of using shock treatment on a patient. Naomi deals with the idea of genetically designing babies. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 59 minutes.

Other Options

  • 30 Rock (NBC): New. Liz and Pete try to rig things to get the result they want during the auditions. Jenna and Tracy set out to find their own new cast member.
  • American Chopper (TLC): New. An electric chopper is built. Plays again later. Last week’s episode replays right before.
  • Bones (FOX): New. A chicken farmer known for being an animal rights activist is found dead after it is known that he may have inherited a chicken factory.
  • Community (NBC): New. The group tries to help Jeff after they learn that he is living in his car.
  • CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (CBS): New. Two unrelated murders turnout to be connected.
  • Iron Chef America (Food Network): Repeat. The “Morimoto vs. Virant” battle from this past Sunday replays. Plays again later.
  • It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (FX): New. The gang is trying to create some products to build up the Paddy’s brand. Runs 31 minutes. Plays again later.
  • The Office (NBC): New. Jim and Pam end up on a double date with Michael and Helena, guest star Linda Purl. Dwight is being too nice to everyone at the office.
  • Supernatural (The CW): New. The Trickster sends Dean and Sam into another universe where they get stuck in different TV series. I don’t normally watch this show, but have heard really good things about this episode, plus given that it revolves around TV, I’ll be watching it this week.

Sports Note

  • TNT has doubleheader NBA action with the Chicago Bulls at the Cleveland Cavaliers followed by the San Antonio Spurs at the Utah Jazz.

Late Night

  • Sanctuary (Syfy): Repeat. Last Friday’s episode, “Hero,” replays.
  • White Collar (USA): Repeat. Last Friday’s episode, “Threads,” replays.

TV Marathons

Bravo has 14 episodes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
History has five episodes of Ancient Discoveries that play twice.
Oxygen has 10 episodes of Snapped.
