On cable tonight, History has the series premiere of Ancients Behaving Badly, TLC has a couple of King of the Crown specials, Travel has the second fall season premiere of Ghost Adventures, and WE has the series premiere of Platinum Babies.

In late night, Comedy Central has a Greg Behrendt: That Guy From That Thing comedy special.

Prime Picks

Smallville (The CW): New. Jor-El is searching for Clark, while Zod is looking for Jor-El, and Clark is trying to get to Jor-El before Zod doe.

Stargate Universe (Syfy): New. Gen. O’Neil, guest star Richard Dean Anderson, wants the Destiny crew to try a dangerous plan that could get them back to Earth. Eli and Chloe visit home via the communication stones. Plays again later. Last week’s episode, “Water,” replays right before.

White Collar (USA): New. A mobster has had a valuable bible stolen from him and asks the FBI to help him track it down. Neal’s loyalties are tested. Plays again later. The first two episodes of the series replay earlier in the day.

Solid Selections

House (FOX): Repeat. In “Unfaithful” from last season, House takes the case of a priest who thinks he saw a bleeding Jesus on his doorstep.

Monk (USA): New. Monk goes camping with Lt. Disher to try and convince the remaining holdout on the reinstatement commission to change their mind. Plays again later.

Sanctuary (Syfy): New. Magnus finds herself in a future where the Sanctuary and most everything else has been destroyed, but she has no memory of how she got there or what is going on. Plays again later.

Other Options

• Numb3rs (CBS): New. A computer hacker tries to takeover some online black markets and gets himself in serious trouble. CBS has cut this season’s episode order down to 16 from 22.
• Medium (CBS): New. Alison rents an SUV that has a satellite radio that lets her listen to real conversations that people are having.

Sports Notes

• ESPN doubleheader NBA action with the Cleveland Cavaliers at the New York Knicks followed by the San Antonio Spurs at the Portland Trail Blazers.
• ESPN2 has Friday Night College Football with Boise State at Louisiana Tech.

Late Night

• Sons of Anarchy (FX): Repeat. This past Tuesday’s episode, “Fa Guan,” replays.
