On cable tonight, Comedy Central has the first season finale of Secret Girlfriend, G4 has the second season premiere of Human Wrecking Balls, HGTV has a Change the World: American Heroes special, MTV has a The Real World special, and Syfy has the series premiere of Ghost Hunters Academy.

In cancellation news, ABC has decided to not pick up Eastwick for the rest of the season, but is presently planning on playing the rest of the original 13 episodes ordered that have yet to air. It looks like Ugly Betty may then take over its timeslot sometime early next year.

The New Adventures of Old Christine (CBS): New. Christine is trying to learn to follow through on things and Max, guest star Eric McCormack (Will & Grace), is trying to teach her.
Gary Unmarried (CBS): New. Allison’s new friend likes hanging out with Gary, which doesn’t sit well with Allison.

Glee (FOX): New. Will gets the club to show their support for Artie by performing in wheelchairs. Kurt and Rachel compete for a solo.

CSI: NY (CBS): New. Dr. Langston continues following a human trafficking ring, which takes him to New York, as the triple crossover event continues. It will finish up tomorrow night on CSI.

Mercy (NBC): New. A family crisis brings Mike and Veronica back together. Dr. Sands decides it is time to move on. Putting this on the list should, especially in this position, tell you how much I don’t like country music and how little there is on in the first hour of primetime.

Criminal Minds (CBS): New. A string of murders seems to be following a rock star’s tour, so the team investigates.

Dinner: Impossible (Food Network): New. Robert is tasked for cooking a meal for 300 WWE VIPs with dishes based on signature wrestling moves. Plays again later.

  • MythBusters (Discovery Channel): New. The guys attempt to see if an out of control car with crash and burn. Plays again later.
  • nip/tuck (FX): New. Julia has come back from New York. Sean learns some devastating news about his marriage. Runs 62 minutes. Plays twice.
  • Throwdown With Bobby Flay (Food Network): New. Bobby takes on a “Pumpkin Pie” challenge. A repeat episode follows. Both play again later.
