Prime Picks
The New Adventures of Old Christine (CBS): New. Richard attempts to woo back New Christine.
Gary Unmarried (CBS): New. Gary lets Louise go to a party, but then tries to keep it from Allison. Sasha thinks about a relationship with Gary outside of the radio station.
Glee (FOX): New. The glee club is checking out the competition. Kirk gives Rachel a makeover. Hope this episode comes off more focused, as last week’s seemed a little all over the place.
CSI: NY (CBS): New. The CSIs are trying to save the next victim on the Compass Killer.
Solid Selections
Modern Family (ABC): Repeat. In “The Incident” from earlier this season, Shelley Long guest stars Jay’s ex-wife.
The Middle (ABC): New. The staff at the dealership is forced to work on Thanksgiving.
Modern Family (ABC): New. It’s Luke’s birthday and Claire and Phil decide to go all out. A repeat of the hilarious “The Incident” episode replays earlier in the night before The Middle.
Cougar Town (ABC): New. Travis brings a girl over for Thanksgiving. Grayson and Bobby realize they have something more than golf in common. Runs 31 minutes. This was a great episode of the show. It has been a little over-the-top at times, especially star Courtney Cox, but things are toned down a bit and the episode comes of not only funny, but very sweet. I hope this is a sign that the show has found itself and we’ll see more of this going forward.
Eastwick (ABC): New. The show resumes showing its remaining episodes, but even though I liked the show, I will not be watching, since the show’s producers have already said they didn’t have time to give the series any kind of finale. So, stopping now or in a few episodes doesn’t really matter to me, as either way the story will be left unfinished.
Other Options
- Criminal Minds (CBS): New. The team is hunting the Reaper, who seems to have found Hotchner’s family. This is the show’s 100th episode.
- MythBusters (Discovery Channel): New. The team takes a look at some diving myths. Plays again later. Last week’s episode replays right before.
- nip/tuck (FX): New. Alexis and Matt both want some really weird procedures done. Erica finds out the truth about her husband. Plays twice.
Sports Notes
- ESPN has NBA action with the Miami Heat at the Orlando Magic followed by college basketball action.
- ESPN2 has college basketball action most of the day.
Late Night
- It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (FX): Repeat. Last Thursday’s episode, “The D.E.N.N.I.S. System,” replays.
