Over on cable, A&E has the eighth season premiere of Intervention and the second season premiere of Hoarders, History has the second season premiere of Pawn Stars, and Science has a Man Made Marvels China special.

House (FOX): New. An old friend and former patient of Wilson is having bouts of paralysis in his right arm. Runs 61 minutes.
Lie to Me (FOX): New. Lightman, Foster and Reynolds are on their way to Las Vegas to help in the search for a missing World Series of Poker finalist. Loker and Torres find themselves getting closer. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 59 minutes.
Castle (ABC): Repeat. This season’s premiere episode, “Deep in Death,” has Castle trying to figure out how to get back in good with Beckett after doing the one thing she asked him not to do.
Solid Selections
Dr. Suess’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas (ABC): Repeat. The animated classic about a curmudgeon that wants to put an end to Christmas in Whoville. Runs 30 minutes.
Shrek the Halls (ABC): Repeat. Everyone tries to join in the Christmas fun messing up Shrek’s plans for a cozy family holiday. Runs 30 minutes.
Trauma (NBC): New. Boone gets to play boss for a day and just about everything goes wrong on his watch. I had dropped this show, since it was announced it wasn’t getting any more episodes, but started watching again via OnDemand and have gotten caught up with the series. I really like some of the characters, while still having problems with the way the show is put together.
Rita Rocks (Lifetime): New. Two new episodes play after last week’s two episodes replay. Tonight’s new episodes replay next week.
Other Options
- Good Eats (Food Network): New. Alton cooks up some yuletide classics that have been forgotten. Plays again later.
- Gossip Girl (The CW): New. Blair thinks her mom is hiding something from her. Vanessa has another fight with her mother and ends up at Dan’s place for Thanksgiving.
- One Tree Hill (The CW): New. Nathan and Haley have big decisions in front of them career-wise. Clay is trying to rebuild his career.
