The New Adventures of Old Christine (CBS): New. Christine learns a big secret while attending the holiday block party that she didn’t really want to attend.
Gary Unmarried (CBS): New. Gary decides to become a boat guy to help Tom impress a girl, but ultimately has to ask Allison’s boyfriend for some help.

Criminal Minds (CBS): New. A con escapes while in custody of the BAU, so the team has to figure out where he may have gone by studying his criminal past.

CSI: NY (CBS): New. Evidence suggests that a reformed drug addict was murdered in and left in an alley, so the CSIs must determine what really happened.

Solid Selections

Disney Prep & Landing (ABC): Repeat. The new animated holiday special that premiered last week replays. A group of highly trained elves prepare each house for Santa’s arrival on Christmas Eve. Runs 30 minutes.

MythBusters (Discovery Channel): New. The guys investigate a couple of filthy myths. Plays again later. Last week’s episode replays right before.

nip/tuck (FX): Season Finale. Sean isn’t sure what to do after being asked to perform a surgery on an inmate. Kimber and Christian get some big news. Plays twice.

Other Option

  • The Vampire Diaries (The CW): Repeats. Episodes five and six, “You’re Undead to Me” and “Lost Girls,” replay tonight.

  • ESPN has doubleheader NBA action with the Dallas Mavericks at the team that shall not be named followed by the Washington Wizards at the Sacramento Kings.
  • ESPN2 has doubleheader college basketball action.

  • Funniest Commercials of the Year: 2009 (TBS): Repeat. The special hosted by Kevin Nealon replays.
  • It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (FX): Repeat. Last Thursday’s fifth season finale episode, “The Gang Reignites the Rivalry,” replays.
