Prime Picks

Community (NBC): Repeat. In “Introduction to Film,” Jeff thinks he has found an easy A and Abed with some help begins taking a film class.
Community (NBC): Repeat. In “Introduction to Statistics,” Jeff has scored a date with his hot statistics professor, but he has also promised to go to Annie’s party. This is the Halloween episode and probably my favorite episode of the series so far.

Community (NBC): Repeat. In “Debate 109,” Jeff gets roped into helping Annie on the school’s debate team.
Community (NBC): Repeat. In “Comparative Religion,” Shirley is planning a holiday party and Jeff gets challenged to a fight by guest star Anthony Michael Hall (The Dead Zone).

Men of a Certain Age (TNT): New. Owen and Melissa go to a charity dinner with Joe’s ex and her new boyfriend. Joe hangs out with his bookie. Plays again later. Didn’t care much for the first two episodes, but really enjoyed last week’s episode. So, it was enough to get me to checkout a fourth episode of the series. But, unfortunately this episode reminds me more of the first two than the third one. There are some really good moments, yet it seemed to drag on and on. What do you think of this show so far?

Solid Selections

How I Met Your Mother (CBS): Repeat. In “Double Date” from earlier this season, Ted realizes that he has been on this exact blind date before.
Accidentally on Purpose (CBS): Repeat. In “The Date” episode from earlier this season, Billie and Zack decide to see other people.

Two and a Half Men (CBS): Repeat. In “The Devil’s Lube” episode from last season, an old friend of Charlie’s, guest star Emilio Estevez, dies, so he re-evaluates his life. Runs 31 minutes.
The Big Bang Theory (CBS): Repeat. Last season’s episode, “The Terminator Decoupling,” replays with guest star Summer Glau (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles). Starts a minute after the half hour and runs 29 minutes.

CSI: Miami (CBS): Repeat. In “Target Specific” from last season has the CSIs investigating a home invasion that becomes dangerous for the team.

Other Option

  • MythBusters (Discovery Channel): Repeat. The gang is checking out six fables submitted by fans. Plays again later.

The Vikings are playing the Chicago Bears… though I, personally, would prefer to see them play the Chicago Bulls.
