Tonight, ABC has new episodes of Better Off Ted and Scrubs following the Rose Bowl and PBS has the sixth season premiere of Now on PBS.
Over on cable, Food Network has an Iron Chef America special episode, HGTV has an HGTV Dream Home 2010 special, the series premiere of Outdoor Room With Jamie Durie and a The Antonio Treatment special, and Showtime has a Jake Johannsen: I Love You comedy special.
In late night, VH1 has the series premiere of Friday Night Alright.

Better Off Ted (ABC): Repeat. In “Love Blurts” from earlier this season, Veridian tries their hand at matchmaking for their employees. Ted’s made up language is very funny, as is the bear bit.
The Soup (E!): New. Joel McHale (Community) skewers the week in celeb news and pop culture. Plays twice and again later. Runs 30 minutes.
