Get Doctor Who: The Complete Specials on Blu-ray or DVD at AmazonOn cable tonight, Animal Planet has the second season premiere of Underdog to Wonderdog and the fourth winter season premiere of It’s Me or the Dog, BBC America has part two of Doctor Who: The End of Time, CMT has the first season finale of World’s Strictest Parents, MTV has the first season finale of Styl’d, and Style has the sixth winter season premiere of How Do I Look? and the series premiere of What I Hate About Me.

Of the 24 TV marathons listed below, my prime pick would be the first eight episodes of House season one on Bravo.

Prime Picks

Doctor Who: The David Tennant Special (BBC America): Repeat. Take a look at David Tennant’s term as the 10th doctor. Runs 30 minutes. Plays again later.
Doctor Who: The End of Time, Part 2 (BBC America): New. The Doctor and Wilf to fight alone. This is the final episode for David Tennant. Runs 90 minutes. Plays again later. This follows an all day marathon of Doctor Who episodes.

Demons (BBC America): Series Premiere. A young man finds out that he is the descendent of the vampire hunter Van Helsing and that he must continue the fight. Plays again later.

Other Option

  • Castle (ABC): Repeat. Castle and Beckett are looking into a district attorney murder and how escorts may be associated with it in “Love Me Dead” from earlier this season.

Sports Notes

  • CBS has tripleheader college basketball.
  • ESPN has tripleheader college football action with the PapaJohns.com Bowl with South Carolina vs. Connecticut, the AutoZone Liberty Bowl with Arkansas vs. East Carolina, and the Valero Alamo Bowl with Michigan St vs. Texas Tech.
  • ESPN2 has the International Bowl with South Florida vs. North Illinois followed by tripleheader college basketball.
  • FOX has the AT&T Cotton Bowl with Mississippi vs. Oklahoma State.
  • NBA TV has the team that shall not be named at the Milwaukee Bucks.
