Over on cable, CMT has a True Blue: 10 Years of Blue Collar Comedy special and a Blue Collar Comedy: 10 Years of Funny special, HGTV has the first season finale of The Outdoor Room With Jamie Durie, Lifetime has the TV movie premiere of Who Is Clark Rockefeller?, and Syfy has the TV movie premiere of Dinoshark.
Parenthood (NBC): Repeat. The “Man vs. Possum” episode from this past Tuesday replays, where Zeek is encouraging Sarah to go big in looking for a new job and Crosby is trying to bond with his newly discovered son. The show is no longer scheduled to replay on Saturday nights after this week.
Survivors (BBC America): New. A self appointed spiritual leader named John arrives at the groups doorstep with followers in tow. Many of the group are suspicious of him, but Abby agrees to take a pregnant member of the group in until her baby is born. Plays again later. Last week’s episode replays right before.
Jimmy Kimmel Live (ABC): Repeat. The “After the Academy Awards” special replays with guest Robert Downey, Jr. and musical performance by Keith Urban. Also includes the “Handsome Men’s Club” bit, which is very funny.
Desperate Housewives (ABC): Repeat. The “Lovely” episode from earlier this season replays, where Susan invites Robin to live in her home while the ex-stripper gets back on her feet. A replay of “The Chase” follows, where Gaby hides out while her daughter has the chickenpox.
The Guard (ION): Series Premiere. Stars David James Elliot (JAG) as a member of the Canadian Coast Guard Search and Rescue Team. In this episode a member of the team can’t save a Sikh woman and her children. Two episodes are set to play each Saturday night for the next few weeks. Will probably at least check out tonight’s two episodes. Any Canadian readers want to fill us in on whether this is worth checking out or not, as I believe the season has already aired for you?
The Guard (ION): New. A rescue of a man in an overturned lifeboat is attempted.
Bravo has eight episodes of House tonight.
