Prime Picks

NCIS (CBS): New. The team seeks help from Holly Snow, guest star Dina Meyer, when the death of a Navy officer looks like it may be connected to a prostitute.

Lost (ABC): New. Desmond comes to and recognizes that he has been returned to the island.

Justified (FX): New. Raylan is trying to find a fugitive before the mobsters he stole money from find him. Alan Ruck guest-stars. Plays twice and again later. This episode felt a little more stand-alone than previous episodes, but it was also a bit more on the fun side too. How are you enjoying this show so far?

Solid Selections

90210 (The CW): New. Dixon and Ivy are fake dating in an attempt to make others jealous. Annie continues dealing with Jasper.

Survivors (BBC America): New. Samantha wants a re-established a judicial system, so she starts by arresting Tom. Plays again later.

The Good Wife (CBS): New. Will and Alicia are having problems while trying to defend a student of murdering her sorority sister.

Other Options

  • Chopped (Food Network): Season Premiere. Rattlesnake is one of the ingredients the competitors must use. Plays again later.
  • Law & Order: Criminal Intent (USA): New. In “Loyalty, Part II” we see the conclusion of the exit storyline for Detectives Goren and Eames. Plays again later. I thought it provide a solid exit for the two stars that have been with the show since the beginning. As of next week, Jeff Goldblum and Saffron Burrows take over as the detectives each week.
  • NCIS: Los Angeles (CBS): New. To investigate the murder of a Marine, Sam goes undercover as a mixed martial arts fighter.
  • Parenthood (NBC): New. Max begins working with a behavioral aide. Kristina is letting things mess with her love life. Sarah is going back and forth on going out with Amber’s teacher.
  • Southland (TNT): Season Finale. John’s ex makes a request of him. The police are trying to use maximum deployment to find and stop a rapist that is dressing like a cop. Lydia is re-partnered with Russell, as he returns on light duty. Plays again later. The previous five episodes of season two replay leading up to the finale. This series has grown on me a bit over the course of the season. But, mostly this episode just goes to show why I wish it was about Ben McKenzie, Michael @Cudlitz and the rest of the patrol officers. I find that storyline the most compelling. Maybe a way to cut cost and bring the show back for a third season would be to turn it into a show about just them. I would most definitely continue to watch. What have you thought about the second season?
  • V (ABC): New. Anna begins to invite select humans to stay on one of the 29 ships. Ryan attempts to deal with Vanessa’s accelerated pregnancy. Tyler finds something out about his mother.

  • ESPN has the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament final.
  • NBA TV has the San Antonio Spurs at the Sacramento Kings.

I really am enjoying “Justified.” I hope that it keeps developing the relationships between the main characters. I’m going to need a replacement for my favorite cable show, “Saving Grace.”

I’m really into Justified but a little worried with the downward trend in viewer ratings. People seem not to like how Raylan shoots someone each week but I figured that was how it would be for most episodes from the start. You know…”Justified” shootings…I don’t know. I’ll stick with it.

Will also be watching LOST & V tonight.

Richard, Tonight’s episode of Justified has a bit of bonding between Raylan and one of his fellow Marshals. Next week, you get to meet Raylan’s father and aunt and learn more about his past.

MediaMindset, Yeah, I’ve been a little worried about that too, but it hasn’t dropped too far yet. Hopefully, it stabilizes over the next couple episodes. For those that don’t like Raylan shooting people, they will be disappointed with tonight’s episode. But, I thought it fits perfectly with his character given the situation and the type of people he’s dealing with in the episode.

I just finished watching the latest Justified and I really liked it. I’ve enjoyed all the episodes. The only thing that wasn’t that great was the pulling of the teeth thing. Was sort of a sad episode in a way though, by the end I wanted that guy to get across the border to safety.
