News & Notes
Parenthood (NBC): Repeat. This past Tuesday’s episode, “The Big ‘O,'” replays, where Kristina is spending all her time worrying about Max. Sarah is trying to decide whether she should go out on a date with Amber’s teacher. Crosby finally tells his parents about Jabbar.
Patricia Cornwell’s At Risk (Lifetime): TV Movie Premiere. Andie MacDowell stars as Monique Lamont, an ambitious district attorney in Massachusetts. Daniel Sunjata (Rescue Me) stars as state investigator Will Garano. She sets out a new crime initiative that she hopes will help her move towards the governor’s office. She hopes cracking an old cold case with new DNA evidence will be just the thing, but she and Garano end up in danger. Based on the novel by Patricia Cornwell. This is the first time any of her novels has been adapted for TV. Runs two hours. Plays twice. I totally forgot I had this to preview, but it looks and sounds pretty good, at least a step above your normal Lifetime movie.
Iron Chef America (Food Network): Repeats. The first of four repeat episodes plays in this timeslot. All four play again later.
Law & Order (NBC): Repeat. The “Boy on Fire” episode from earlier this season replays, where Bernard and Lupo are investigating the case of 16-year-old student that was found burned.
Castle (ABC): Repeat. The “Sucker Punch” episode from earlier this season replays, where Beckett and Castle are looking into the death of an Irish mobster and drug smuggling when the case turns personal for Beckett. This was a great episode.
