Tonight, ABC has the series finale of Ugly Betty and FOX has the first season finale of Human Target.

Prime Picks
Human Target (FOX): Season Finale. Chance, Guerrero and Winston think back to the events that led to their partnership. I’ve enjoyed this show and hope we get a second season. Also, I find the idea of telling the origin story as the finale of the first season to be intriguing. They’ve been hinting at his past all season, now we get to see what it is. Amy Acker (Dollhouse, Angel), Lee Majors (Six Million Dollar Man, and Armand Assante (NCIS) all guest star.
Modern Family (ABC): New. Jay and Phil both want to take over as Manny’s coach when the team’s coach quits during a game. Mitchell takes Cameron to meet a potential new employer.
Cougar Town (ABC): New. Jules realizes something about herself when Travis’ first girlfriend breaks up with him. Sara, guest star Sheryl Crow, begins to wonder if Jules presents a problem in her relationship with Grayson. Runs 31 minutes.
In Plain Sight (USA): New. A former ATF agent gets shot on the job and wakes up from a three year coma to find out that he was placed in witness protection and everybody from his former life thinks he is dead. Plays again later. Last week’s episode, “When Mary Met Marshall,” replays earlier in the day. This is another good episode with an ending I didn’t think we’d see this soon in the new season, although I thought it would happen at some point. Rita Moreno (Cane) guest stars as Raph’s aunt who has come to town to help make plans for his and Mary’s wedding. She is only in a few scenes, but makes everyone of them count and is very funny. Also, I like Allison Janney (The West Wing) as the area head of the U.S. Marshal service. Her character has given Mary someone new to butt heads with. Overall, three episodes into the season, I don’t see a marked difference in tone for the show under the new showrunner compared to last season. Do you?

The New Adventures of Old Christine (CBS): New. Richard attempts to plan a surprise wedding for New Christine and Christine takes her to a salon for some pampering while he does so.
