Over on cable, ID has the first season finale of True Crime With Aphrodite Jones, Military Channel has the series premiere of Toughest Military Jobs, and National Geographic has the second season finale of Known Universe.

Season finale dates not mentioned above or below: CBS has Survivor on Sunday, May 16th, which runs two hours.

The Vampire Diaries (The CW): Season Finale. Alaric and Damon try to stop Johnathan from putting his plan in motion. Can’t believe I am actually excited for this, even though I know we are going to be left will all kinds of cliffhangers.

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC): New. Everyone is reassessing after seeing a chance reunion between two long lost lovers. Runs 61 minutes. Two-hour season finale is next week on May 20th.

The Mentalist (CBS): New. Patrick once again crosses paths with a supposed psychic while investigating a murder and seems to be attracted to her. Season finale is next week on May 20th.

Solid Selections

Community (NBC): New. A new Spanish teacher is brought in after something is found out about Senor Chang. Season finale is next week on May 20th.
Parks & Recreation (NBC): New. Adam Scott (Party Down) and Rob Lowe (Brothers & Sisters) play two state auditors that put Leslie’s new park on hold. Season finale is next week on May 20th.

The Office (NBC): New. Michael doesn’t seem to be letting bad news about Donna bother him. Jim and Pam are having trouble keeping awake at work. Season finale is next week on May 20th.
30 Rock (NBC): New. Jack actually goes to Liz for advice regarding his love triangle. Season finale is next week on May 20th.

Private Practice (ABC): Season Finale. Addison, Amelia, and Fife are trying to save Maya and her unborn child. Cooper takes one more shot at getting Charlotte back. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 59 minutes.

  • Bones (FOX): New. The trial of the Gravedigger begins and the team attempts to make sure she is convicted. Season finale is next week on May 20th.
  • CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (CBS): New. Someone is pointing the finger at Dr. Langston as being part of the Dr. Jekyll murders. Season finale is next week on May 20th.
  • FlashForward (ABC): New. Mark is trying to protect Gabriel. Aaron is still trying to rescue his daughter. Janis is tasked with killing a fellow agent. Season finale is in two weeks on May 27th.
  • Fringe (FOX): New. Olivia goes to the other universe along with Watler and he has a face-off with William Bell, played by Leonard Nimoy. This is actually part one of a two part finale. Part two plays next week on May 20th.
  • Supernatural (The CW): Season Finale. Dean and Sam have to make a devastating decision with the apocalypse close at hand.

  • ESPN has second round NBA Playoffs action with Game 6 of the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Boston Celtics.

Late Night

  • House (USA): Repeat. “The Chase” episode from a couple weeks ago on FOX replays, where an ailing groom is the patient of the week and House goes to a karaoke bar with Chase and Foreman.
