Friday Night Lights (NBC): New. Tim and Lyla are revisiting things. Coach Taylor is searching for a way to shutdown the Lions’ next opponent. Matt and Julie go to a concert in Austin without Tami knowing anything about the trip. How awesome was Zach Gilford in last week’s episode?

Stargate Universe (Syfy): New. The crew continues to deal with the Lucian invasion. Plays again later. The previous 11 episodes, plus a couple more before that, replay leading up to tonight’s season finale.

Party Down (Starz): New. Roman is less than thrilled to find out that they are catering a celebration party for his former writing partner who he believes to be a sellout. Runs 30 minutes. For those of you that don’t have Starz, but have a Netflix account, you can watch this and other Starz series via instant watch.

Other Options

  • Flashpoint (CBS): New. A man suffering from delusions kidnapps a woman he thinks is his missing daughter and the team responds to the call. The team gets a new member.
  • The Good Guys (FOX): Repeat. Monday’s episode, “Bait & Switch,” replays, where while investigating some local vandalism they stumble on to a much bigger case involving stolen classic cars. If you weren’t quite sold by the first episode, you should give this episode a shot, it’s significantly better than the “Pilot.”
  • Merlin (Syfy): New. A spell is put on Arthur by a rival king in hopes of starting a war. Plays again later.

Sports Note

  • ESPN has two 2010 World Cup Soccer games.

Late Night

  • Justified (FX): Repeat. This past Tuesday’s first season finale episode, “Bulletville,” replays. Runs 63 minutes.
  • Royal Pains (USA): Repeat. Last night’s episode, “Lovesick,” replays.
