Comic-Con 2010 – Day Two Itinerary

Day one worked out almost as planned, but there was just no way to get back into Ballroom 20 for the Dexter panel. Today is a bit longer day than yesterday, as we are starting off pretty early today, but still ending around the same time. Tomorrow is the really long day.

You can continue to follow me around the convention via Twitter (@theTVaholic) or Facebook. You can also keep up with the blog by becoming a fan on Facebook. I wasn’t able to post as much during the press rooms as I thought I might yesterday, but did get everything recorded and will continue to get stuff posted as time permits.

Question about “Falling Skies”: there’s any chance that we’re going to see the pilot before Summer 2011? it’s a long wait!
    Thanks!

Question about Falling Skies: Knowing the lead character Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) is a former college history professor, and that the viral campaign is called “2nd Mass”, will the show have many historical references?

Paz, Sorry, it won’t be out until sometime after the 2011 NBA Playoffs next June. The producers talked about how they could’ve had it ready to go by January/February, but that marketing during the playoffs is too big an opportunity to launch a show geared to a more male demographic. Plus, TNT does most of their shows during the summer.

Claire, Noah talked about doing a lot of studying to prepare for the part. Also, he mentioned that his character’s knowledge of military history and tactics is why he becomes one of the leaders of a group trying to survive after the alien invasion.
