Prime Picks
Melissa & Joey (ABC Family): Series Premiere. A busy politician, played by Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina the Teenage Witch) needs help with her niece and nephew, who she recently has gotten custody of, and ends up hiring a manny, played by Joey Lawrence (Blossom). Another new episode follows. Both episodes play again later. Review: This show is basically Who’s the Boss with slightly different character backgrounds, but not as good. The “Pilot” is cute in that nostalgic for family sitcoms of my youth kind of way. I think if it starred anybody other than two child TV stars I grew up with and am fond of, I would think it was pretty terrible. What I really wish, is that 10 Things I Hate About You was still around to be paired up with it.
Warehouse 13 (Syfy): New. Some college wrestlers seem to be winning too much and an artifact may be why. Claudia gets sent out into the field with Myka. Lyndsay Wagner (Bionic Woman) guest-stars. Plays again later. Last week’s episode, “Around the Bend,” replays right before. I really enjoyed this episode, which provide a fun storyline for Artie in regards to Wagner’s Warehouse doctor character, who isn’t really in the episode all that much. Claudia (@allisonscag) out in the field was also really fun.
Covert Affairs (USA): New. Annie is investigating a possible leak. Auggie gets assigned as the handler of his former special ops unit. Plays again later. The previous three episodes replay earlier in the day. Last day to enter our Covert Affairs prize pack giveaway that includes a t-shirt, hat, spy book and more.

- Rescue Me (FX): New. The firehouse gets reopened. Tommy and Sheila end up in hot water. Plays again later.
