Get The Vampire Diaries Season 1 on DVD at AmazonOn cable tonight, ESPN has the 14th season premiere of Thursday Night College Football and Comedy Central has the sixth season finale of Futurama, which is also the show’s 100th episode.

Premiering next week, The CW has The Vampire Diaries S.2 and new series Nikita. NBC has The Apprentice premiering the next week on Sept. 16th. Everything else on Thursdays on the network side premieres on the 23rd. On the cable side, FX has It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The League returning with new seasons as of the 16th.

Prime Picks

The Vampire Diaries (The CW): Repeat. The first season finale episode, “Founder’s Day,” replays, where Johnathan puts his deadly plan in motion and Alaric and Damon try to stop it. Season two premieres next Thursday, Sept. 9th.

Fringe (FOX): Repeat. S.2 Ep.19, “The Man From the Other Side,” replays, where they come across the embryo of a shape-shifter. Season three premieres in three weeks on Sept. 23rd.

Ace of Cakes (Food Network): New. Duff builds his first ever rocket cake after getting rocket lessons from the Blue Angels. Runs 30 minutes. Plays again later.
