Tonight on the Tube: Human Target & The Good Guys Repeats and a New Flashpoint

News & Notes

Get Human Target Season 1 on DVD at AmazonOn cable tonight, Disney Channel has Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam followed by the series premiere of Fish Hooks and VH1 has the first season finale of The Short List.

Syfy will be back with new episodes of Eureka, the summer finale, and Haven next week.

The Fall 2010 TV Season doesn’t really get started on Friday nights until Sept. 24th, when pretty much everything premieres, except for replays of The CW’s new series Hellcats and Nikita for the next two weeks.

Prime Picks

Human Target (FOX): Repeat. The “Rewind” episode from last season replays, where Chase is trying to protect a client he has never met from a potential assassin while on a plane. While I really like this show and where it ended up by the end of the season, this was actually my least favorite episode from the first season. The second season premieres on Oct. 1st.

The Good Guys (FOX): Repeat. The “Small Rooms” episode from the first part of the season replays, where Dan tries to link a routine investigation to an unsolved cold case. The second half of the first season returns on Sept. 24th.

Flashpoint (CBS): New. The team is called in to investigate shots fired in a pricey neighborhood and end up in a confrontation with a group of gunrunners.

Sports Notes

  • ESPN has college football action with Arizona at Toledo.
  • ESPN2 has early round coverage of The U.S. Open tennis tournament.

Late Night

  • The Glades (A&E): Repeat. This past Sunday’s episode, “Marriage is Murder,” replays and again later.
  • Haven (Syfy): Repeats. Four episodes replay.
  • Rescue Me (FX): Repeat. This past Tuesday’s episode, “A.D.D.,” replays.
