Modern Family (ABC): New. Claire ends up stuck in the bathroom with the plumber after an earthquake. Mitchell and Cameron try to use the earthquake as an excuse to get out of going to a party. Runs 31 minutes.
Cougar Town (ABC): New. Grayson becomes the center of Jules’ life now that Travis is away at college. Travis attempts to reinvent himself. Starts a minute after the half hour and runs 29 minutes.

Terriers (FX): New. Hank and Britt are attempting to deal with the ever-widening scope of the Lindus conspiracy while trying to avoid a murder rap. Runs 61 minutes. Plays twice and again later.

The Middle (ABC): New. Frankie is humiliated by a store clerk’s assumption. Sue has a crush on one of Axl’s friends.
Better With You (ABC): New. Ben gets left out of the Putney’s family Christmas card photo.

Criminal Minds (CBS): New. Rossi thinks a string of murders may be the work of a killer from a case 25-years-ago.

The Defenders (CBS): New. Nick is defending a stripper accused of prostitution. Pete has to take a case he doesn’t want after losing at poker.

  • Law & Order: Los Angeles (NBC): New. Winters’ wife gets questioned in connection with a case of a cult member that gets stabbed to death. Plays again Saturday night.
  • MythBusters (Discovery Channel): Fall Premiere. Some shaggy dog myths are tested. Plays again later.

    I agree with you about the show, Undercovers. The actors are beautiful, but the script is not. Lame play on words with the title.
    Too bad. I liked the idea of the show, but not worth my tv time.

    Joel, Well, it’s kind of by default, as there isn’t really anything, including Undercovers, that’s all that good in the first hour of primetime. Really can’t wait for Human Target to show up in November, so there will be.

    Eva, Yes, the cast is great, but what they’ve been given not so much.
