Get Smallville Season 9 on DVD at AmazonOn cable tonight, Animal Planet has the first fall season premeire of Fatal Attractions, Discovery Channel has the third season premiere of Swamp Loggers, Nat Geo has the seventh season premiere of Dog Whisperer, and TeenNick has the series premiere of Gigantic.

Sanctuary season three premieres next Friday, Oct. 15th.

Prime Picks

Smallville (The CW): New. Kara is back with a message for Clark from Jor El. Lois goes after a crusading shock jock railing against heroes like Green Arrow.

No Ordinary Family (ABC): Repeat. This past Tuesday’s series premiere episode, “No Ordinary Marriage,” replays.

Blue Bloods (CBS): New. Someone with diplomatic immunity is accused of rape.

Solid Selections

House (FOX): Repeat. “Lockdown” from last season replays.

CSI: NY (CBS): New. A married couple is found beaten. A woman identifies her son as the killer, but then a witness comes forward.

Haven (Syfy): Season Finale. Audrey deals with a revelation about herself, all while dealing with a mysterious criminal that is back in town. Plays again later. The show has been picked up for a second season, which will begin filming next spring and play next summer.

  • The Good Guys (FOX): New. Jack and Dan go after some identity thieves that are forging documents for some Mexican drug runners.
  • Law & Order: UK (BBC America): New. The death of a boy found at a rail station is investigated. Plays again later. The series premiere episode, “Care,” replays following.
  • Medium (CBS): New. Ariel is having visions of young woman that’s missing. Allison has concerns about her boss.

Good to see Laura Vandervoort back on the show as Kara. I kind of missed her when she left after season 7. That costume she was wearing was about as close as you can get to Supergirl’s costume without it actually being the costume.
