Prime Picks
No Ordinary Family (ABC): New. Jim is patrolling the park at night and gets mistaken for a dangerous vigilante. Daphne tries to use her ability to get an invite to a party.
Stargate Universe (Syfy): New. The crew of the Destiny is once again placed in interplanetary peril. Plays again later.
Sons of Anarchy (FX): New. Samcro may have some problems in their new business venture from the Grim Bastards. Runs 61 minutes. Plays again later twice.
Solid Selections
NCIS (CBS): New. A Navy officer who is also a controversial DJ is found murdered and the team investigates.
Life Unexpected (The CW): New. Baze is on a work retreat and it just so happens it is taking place at the same hotel Cate and Ryan are vacationing. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 59 minutes.
The Good Wife (CBS): New. Alicia gets embroiled in an ethic scandal. A third candidate enters the race for state attorney.
Other Options
- Caprica (Syfy): New. Lines of loyalty have been drawn. Where do you stand? Plays again later.
- Melissa & Joey (ABC Family): New. Mel finds that her brother-in-law has been hiding in her attic. Runs 30 minutes. Two previous episodes replay right before tonight’s new episode.
- NCIS: Los Angeles (CBS): New. Callen’s former partner has taken some Navy recruits hostage.
- One Tree Hill (The CW): New. Brooke and Julian get an unexpected visitor. Nathan starts his new career. Runs 61 minutes.
- Parenthood (NBC): New. Zeek is going overboard for Halloween. Adam and Kristina are not quite sure what to make of Max’s new plan.
- Tower Prep (Cartoon Network): Repeat. The series premiere episode, “Pilot,” replays. This will be the normal night for the show. A young man gets in a fight at school and wakes up the next day in a secret prep school. He sets out to figure out where he has been taken and if he can get out. In doing so he comes across some other students looking to do the same thing. Each student at the school seems to have some special ability. It’s geared for kids, but I found it to be fun. You have to wade through the first half of the episode, but the second half sets up a potentially interesting storyline. If you liked Unnatural History, then you’ll probably like this.

- FOX has MLB Playoffs with the Philadelphia Phillies at the San Francisco Giants in the early game.
