The Vampire Diaries (The CW): New. Jeremy wants to help Alaric and Damon deal with Katherine. Caroline and her mother share some time together. Bonnie comes across some new information about Mason.

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC): New. The residents get put in charge as part of their training. The attendings are going after a million dollar grant. Run 61 minutes. Last week’s episode, “Can’t Fight Biology,” replays right before.

The Mentalist (CBS): New. Patrick and the team are investigating the murder of a jockey at a horseracing track.

Community (NBC): New. Shirley wants Abed to help her with a religious film. Pierce gets recruited by a group of students the same age as him.
30 Rock (NBC): New. Jack attempts to help Liz figure out where things are going with Carol. Tracy is doing a Boys & Girls Club commercial.

Nikita (The CW): New. Alex and Thom get abducted after a bus of Division recruits get attacked. Owen tells Nikita some really bad news after coming to trust her.

Private Practice (ABC): New. Addison and a new oncologist are differing on the treatment of a baby with a malignant tumor. Pete isn’t too enamored with the idea of Violet trying to help a parolee. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 59 minutes.

  • The Big Bang Theory (CBS): New. Leonard realizes that somehow he is the only one in the group without a girlfriend. Sheldon wants to get rid of his. Runs 31 minutes.
  • CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (CBS): New. A body is found under mounds of stuff in the home of a hoarder, who becomes the prime suspect.
  • Food Feuds (Food Network): New. Some “Seafood Feuds” are battled out. A repeat episode plays right before. Both play again later.
