Prime Picks

Human Target (FOX): Season Premiere. Chance and the team are back for more adventures with a couple of new additions. After Chance and Guerrero rescue Winston, Chance takes a break until a billionaire philanthropist comes looking for him and needs his help. Read my full review, which includes some photos from this episode.

Modern Family (ABC): New. Manny is kind of freaking out about getting older. Phil and Claire are racing to a restaurant. Runs 31 minutes.
Cougar Town (ABC): New. Travis brings home his new college girlfriend to meet his mother. Everyone starts hanging out at Grayson’s place. Starts a minute after the half hour and runs 30 minutes.

Psych (USA): New. Shaun and Gus witness a murder that looks like a ghost committed it while on a haunted house ride. Plays again later. What did you think of how last week’s episode ended? Was it about time or not?

Solid Selections

Undercovers (NBC): New. Leo wakes up next to a dead woman in Mexico and Steven and Samantha go down to prove he is innocent.

Criminal Minds (CBS): New. The team is hunting a man in the forest that targets children.

Terriers (FX): New. Hank gets another shot at the case that got him bumped off the force. Runs 61 minutes. Plays twice and again later. This episode has the best use of the flashback that I have seen in some time. The episode is outstanding and the way it weaves back-n-forth between the past and what is going on now is masterfully done. It’s my favorite episode of the series thus far.

Other Options

  • The Defenders (CBS): New. Pete is trying to help a blogger stay out of jail.
  • Hollywood Treasure (Syfy): New. Two new episodes play. Both play again later.
  • MythBusters (Discovery Channel): New. The guys look into some “Reverse Engineering.” Plays again later.
