Over on cable, HBO has a Public Speaking documentary, History has The Real History of Thanksgiving, MTV has the first season finale of The World of Jenks, Nat Geo Wild has first season finale of Strike Force, and TLC has the second season premiere of Fabulous Cakes.

House (FOX): New. I guy comes into the hospital after having crucified himself. Wilson’s relationship takes an unexpected turn. Runs 61 minutes.

Lie to Me (FOX): New. Lightman ends up uncovering a deadly secret while trying to piece together the fragmented memories of a woman with early onset Alzheimer’s. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 59 minutes.

Hawaii Five-0 (CBS): New. Danny needs to get help from his ex-wife during an investigation into an armored car heist that left two guards dead.

Solid Selections

Chuck (NBC): New. Casey, Chuck, Morgan and Sarah head to Southeast Asia after The Belgian attempts to learn more about the Intersect. Ellie and Awesome are trying to figure out a clue left by her father.

The Event (NBC): New. Sophia sets a trap to uncover the dissension in the ranks of her people. Leila and Sean keep looking for Samantha’s kidnappers.

Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives (Food Network): Repeats. Some “Legacies” and some places with “Old Time Attitude.” Both play again later

  • The Best Thing I Ever Ate (Food Network): New. Food Network personalities talk about the best thing they’ve ever eaten that was “Crazy Good.” A repeat episode follows. Both play again later.
  • How I Met Your Mother (CBS): New. Ted has to spend Thanksgiving with Zoey, while the rest of the gang spends the holiday with The Blitz, an old friend from college played by guest star Jorge Garcia (Lost).
  • Mike & Molly (CBS): New. Mike’s mother buys Molly a hat, which ends up getting her invited to Thanksgiving. Starts a minute after the half hour and runs 29 minutes.
  • Rules of Engagement (CBS): New. Jeff is tired of participating in everyone’s charity stuff at work, but ends up having to ask his co-workers for donations to a “Fun Run” for Audrey.
  • Two and a Half Men (CBS): New. Charlie begins spending a bunch of money on an old flame that recently got released from jail. Runs 31 minutes.

  • ESPN has Monday Night Football action with the Denver Broncos at the San Diego Chargers.
  • ESPN2 has five college basketball games.
