Prime Picks
Human Target (FOX): New. Chance is hired to protect the widow of a man that he killed years back. Ilsa learns more about the company she has bought and the people she is working with. This episode gives new viewers a chance to learn about Chance and his background. It’s a good episode, but my least favorite of the first three of season two. I did like the premise of the episode and hooking it into Chance’s past. It was just that a few things felt off in the execution at times. Next week’s episode gives us some background on new addition to the team, Ames.
Modern Family (ABC): New. Mitchell is uncomfortable around Cameron’s mother. Runs 31 minutes.
Cougar Town (ABC): New. Jules doesn’t get any reciprocation from Grayson after she says I love you, so she sets out to create a situation during Thanksgiving that will force the moment to happen. Starts a minute after the half hour and runs 30 minutes.
Terriers (FX): New. Hank and Britt, along with reporter Laura Ross, find more evidence as to what is taking place in the conspiracy around Ocean Beach, which lands them all in grave danger. Runs 61 minutes. Plays twice and again later. Outstanding episode. Some serious stuff goes down tonight. Don’t want to say anymore and accidentally spoil something.
Solid Selections
Merry Madagascar (NBC): Repeat. The Madagascar gang must get all the presents delivered after Santa has an accident on his sleigh and ends up with amnesia.
Kung Fu Panda Holiday Special (NBC): New Special. Po isn’t happy to find out that his duties will keep him from being able to celebrate his favorite holiday the way he normally does with his family.
MythBusters (Discovery Channel): New. The guys take another look at one of the shows most successful myths. Plays again later. Last week’s episode replays right before.
Bacon Paradise (Travel Channel): New. Take a tour around the country looking for the best places to eat some bacon. Plays again later.
Other Option
- Throwdown (Food Network): New. Bobby Flay competes in a “Lobster Mac & Cheese” competition. A repeat episode follows. Both play again later.
