In late night, Adult Swim has a Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! – Chrimbus Special and VH1 has the second season premiere of Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business.
Prime Picks
The Simpsons (FOX): New. Marge calls in Martha Clause when everyone seems to lack holiday spirit. Runs 30 minutes.
Dexter (Showtime): New. Dexter is trying to do some damage control after he finds that his place has been bugged. Debra’s speculation about a vigilante is starting to take shape. Plays again later. Last week’s episode, “In the Beginning,” replays right before. Tonight’s episode really ratchets things up going into next week’s season finale. I can’t wait to see how he gets out of everything. Showtime has picked the show up for a sixth season.
The Walking Dead (AMC): Season Finale. Rick and the group make it into the CDC, but find that things are not what they had hoped inside. Plays twice and again later. The previous five episodes replay leading up to tonight’s season finale episode.

Challenge (Food Network): Repeat. Contestants must decorate the best tree entirely with “Edible Ornaments.” Plays again later.
Desperate Housewives (ABC): New. Gaby is attempting to keep Grace from having to leave. Renee lets Susan in on a secret. We learn of Paul’s plan. Runs 61 minutes.
Brothers & Sisters (ABC): New. Sarah’s plans for a romantic night with Luc don’t go well. Nora and Kitty find some unexpected romance. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 59 minutes.

- Boardwalk Empire (HBO): Season Finale. Atlantic City is preparing for big changes on election day. Everyone is thinking about his or her future. Runs 65 minutes. Plays again later.
- Iron Chef America (Food Network): New. Chef Mike Lata challenges Iron Chef Jose Garces in a “Sparking Wine Holiday Battle.” Plays again later.
- On Strike for Christmas (Lifetime Movie Network): Premiere. A wife and mother that is tired of being taken for granted, played by Daphne Zuniga, decides that she is taking the holiday season off. If her family wants to have the holiday they normally have, they’ll have to plan it themselves. Other women in the neighborhood hear about it and start to join in.
