Any TV Marathons Playing Over Christmas Weekend 2010? Yes, 119 of Them!

Get A Christmas Story on Blu-ray or DVD at AmazonWell, 119 is how many I found. If you know of one that I missed, please let us all know in the comments below. For a TV marathon to make it on this list, it has to be a minimum of five hours of like content. There are a lot to choose from, but I have a few Prime Picks.

For Christmas Eve there are 35 different TV marathons and the Criminal Minds marathons on A&E and ION and Star Trek: The Next Generation on Syfy are my prime picks. Plus, the 24 hours of A Christmas Story begins that night on TBS and plays into Christmas night.

On Christmas Day there are 49 TV marathons and the Buffy the Vampire Slayer marathons on Chiller and Logo and the beginning of the 36 hours of Freaks and Geeks on IFC are my prime picks. Plus, don’t forget A Christmas Story on TBS.

On Sunday there are another 35 TV marathons and Law & Order: UK on BBC America and NCIS on USA are my prime picks.

While I won’t be watching any of these, I hope to have a few marathons of my own. I’ve narrowed down the potential things I’d like to watch to:
    – Nikita ep 2 – current
    – Futurama V5 Blu-ray all 13 eps with and without commentary
    – rewatch Shameless S1 (UK)
    – rewatch V Season 1 on Blu-ray
    – Mission: Impossible (I think I’m at season 4–usually watch a season every year at this time)
    – The Mentalist S2/S3

Kyle, I am planning on watching the BBC version of Being Human and then the first three episodes of the Syfy version over the Christmas weekend. Then I’m looking at diving into Twin Peaks for New Year’s.
