Any TV Marathons Playing Over New Year’s Weekend? Yes, 131 of Them!

Well, there could be a few more than 131, but that’s all I could find. If you know of one that I missed, please let us know in the comments below. As with previous TV marathon posts, to be listed the marathon must be a minimum of five hours of like content. Note: “early” means it starts before noon and “tonight” means it starts in the evening.

There are 38 TV marathons on New Year’s Eve and my prime picks are Buffy the Vampire Slayer on Logo, The Dukes of Hazard on CMT, House, M.D. on USA, and In Living Color on Centric.

On New Year’s Day there are 52 TV marathons and my prime picks are Buffy the Vampire Slayer on Logo, Doctor Who on BBC America, The Larry Sanders Show on IFC, and The Three Stooges on AMC.

To close out the weekend, Sunday there are 51 TV marathons and my prime picks are 30 for 30 on ESPN2, Buffy the Vampire Slayer on Logo, and Sean Connery James Bond movies on BBC America, and The Three Stooges on AMC.

Which ones look good to you?

    I’m making great progress on my own marathons. Already completed:
    – V – season 1 rewatch
    – Nikita – eps 3->latest
    – Shameless UK – series 1 rewatch
    – Mentalist – season 2 and half of season 3

    Will try to catch up on the rest I have piled up: The Mentalist (4 eps), Hawaii Five-0 (4 eps), Men of a Certain Age (all of 2nd season), Tower Prep (6 or 7 eps), Glory Daze (2 eps). Don’t think I’ll get to Mission: Impossible this week–also wanted to try to marathon all 6 eps of Luther.

    Got the third disc from Netflix yesterday, so I’m going to be watching Being Human UK S.2 and then hopefully getting to a few things I have on the DVRs.
