Prime Picks

Pretty Little Liars (ABC Family): Winter Premiere. Everyone is dealing with the aftermath of the events at Camp Mona. Plays again later and again next week before the next new episode. Nine of the first 10 episodes replay leading up to tonight’s new episode. This show really does the creepy twisty thing really well and tonight’s episode is no exception.

The Closer (TNT): Season Finale. A crack addict’s arrest leads to a bad rehab facility and a missing woman. Gabriel is questioning his boss. Fritz reveals some more about his past. Plays again later. The last three episodes replay leading up to tonight’s finale episode.

Castle (ABC): New. Castle’s first novel is being turned into a movie and the actress that is going to play Nikki Heat wants to follow Beckett and Castle around to learn about her character. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 59 minutes.

Solid Selections

How I Met Your Mother (CBS): New. Lily and Marshall go to a fertility specialist. Robin starts her new job.
Rules of Engagement (CBS): New. Jeff doesn’t like that Audrey is getting private pilates sessions at home.

Greek (ABC Family): Season Premiere. Casey decides to look into why she was rejected from CRU law school. Calvin and Rebecca are trying to get used to being president. Sadly, this is the beginning of the final season, but at least they new it going in, so we should get a conclusion to the goings-on at CRU. In that respect, tonight’s episode is really good. It sets things up nicely to put us on the path to the finale. I can’t wait to follow that path. Have you been looking forward to the return of Greek?

Men of a Certain Age (TNT): New. Joe finds something out about his former bookie. Terry has started to get into having a regular job. Owen goes forward on a business idea without talking with his father first. Plays again later.
