What to Watch Tonight: Modern Family, Cougar Town & Blue Bloods

Download Modern Family Episodes via Amazon Video On DemandTonight, CBS has Blue Bloods on its new night, FOX has the 10th season premiere of American Idol and NBC has Chase on its new night, after being postponed last week.

Over on cable, Food Network has the series premiere of Restaurant: Impossible, G4 has the third season premiere of Campus PD, TBS has the sixth season finale of Tyler Perry’s House of Payne, TV Land has the second season premiere of Hot in Cleveland and the series premiere of Retired at 35, and VH1 has the fourth season finale of Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew.

In late night, Spike TV has the second season finale of Blue Mountain State.

Human Target will next play on Monday, January 31st and then return to Wednesdays on February 2nd and then close out the season on the 9th.

The Middle (ABC): New. Brick is trying to learn about football with the Super Bowl upcoming. Frankie gets asked to go to a management seminar.
Better With You (ABC): New. Mia and Casey take in a stray cat, but are told they shouldn’t let it strut around the baby. This should be the episode that was preempted last week.

Modern Family (ABC): New. Claire and Phil are very surprised when the kids surprise them with breakfast in bed. Mitch and Cam are trying to get into a hot new restaurant. Runs 31 minutes.
Cougar Town (ABC): New. Jules lets Laurie stay with her, even though she is a terrible houseguest. Bobby doesn’t like it when he finds out that Travis went to Grayson for some advice. Starts a minute after the half hour and runs 29 minutes. This is the episode that was supposed to play last week.

Blue Bloods (CBS): New. New evidence comes in on a 25-year-old case that Frank was unable to solve back in the day and he vows to close the case now. This will play on Wednesday nights for the next few weeks and then is schedule to return to Fridays on February 11th. This timeslot will then be taken over by Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, which premieres on February 16th.

Nikita (The CW): Repeat. The “Resistance” episode from earlier in the season replays, where a bus of Division recruits is attacked and Alex and Thom are taken hostage.

Criminal Minds (CBS): New. The team is headed to Miami after a series of weird ritual murders takes place.

Off the Map (ABC): New. Lily and Ben attempt to help a wildlife photographer that is being squeezed by an anaconda. Tommy learns something about the culture. Mina is trying to make nice with a new coworker. So, what did you think of last week’s premiere? Will you be watching?
