Prime Picks

Being Human (Syfy): Repeat. Last week’s episode, “Dog Eat Dog,” replays, where the vampires abduct Josh to compete in a werewolf fight.

Being Human (Syfy): New. Josh is having some trouble in his romantic life. Marcus becomes worried that Bishop knows that he has betrayed him. Plays again later.

Castle (ABC): New. Beckett and Castle investigate after a juror dies suddenly during a high profile trial. Starts a minute after the hour and runs 59 minutes.

Solid Selections

How I Met Your Mother (CBS): Repeat. The “Glitter” episode from earlier this season replays, where Barney finds more video of Robin Sparkles.

Make It or Break It (ABC Family): Spring Premiere. There isn’t much to celebrate after the tryouts for World’s. Plays again later.

Nurse Jackie (Showtime): Season Premiere. Jackie tries to fix her relationships. Akalitus announces that other area hospitals have closed and how it will affect All Saints Hospital. Plays again later. Have seen the first half of the season so far and things sure are twisted up. Jackie has somehow kept things together even as everything was falling around her. But, I really love the side characters like Zoey and Dr. Cooper, as they bring the more comic side of the things. If you love the show, you’re going to love this season.
United States of Tara (Showtime): Season Premiere. Tara decides she wants to go back and finish her degree. Kate is trying to figure out what she wants to do with her life. Charmaine doesn’t want to commit to Neil. Plays again later. Have seen the first half of this season as well and sending Tara back to college is great, especially when she starts taking a psychology class with a professor played by Eddie Izzard (The Riches). Lots of stuff starts to happen for Tara and her alters. While I like some of the side characters on this show too, the reason to watch is Toni Collette. She is amazing to watch as she transitions between multiple personalities. Again, if you love this show, you’re going to love this season.

Other Options

  • Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives (Food Network): New. Guy checks out places that serve up some tasty dishes “From Mozz to Matzo Balls.” A repeat episode follows. Both play again later.
  • Stargate Universe (Syfy): New. The crew is taking turns manning the stones hoping for a link. Tamara diagnoses Volker with a disease. Plays again later.
